The accommodation

This impressive 365 (or 256, respectively) square-meter holiday villa is situated at the edge of the beautiful village of Frigiliana, at the Costa del Sol. Situated uniquely at a mountain slope, the house has been built in three south-facing stories.
The entrance at street level offers access to two tastefully decorated bedrooms with bathroom. From a mezzanine, one enters the lower, riant living room and bordering sun room. On the same floor, there are a cosy dining room, a well-equipped kitchen with scullery and a stylish master bedroom. The latter has an own lounge area, luxurious bathroom and spacious walk-in closet. Outside, everything is surrounded by a large terrace. Going downstairs via a (lockable) outdoor staircase, you get to a beautiful sun terrace with loggia, second kitchen and private pool - all with panorama mountain and sea view.
At the swimming pool, there are the remaining rooms of the house, that are not to be rented (so also not by others) at a stay of up to six persons. When up to thirteen guests stay in the house, a central recreation space (with table tennis table) offers access to a television room, three large bedrooms (for seven persons in total) and two bathrooms, of which one is extra large, with whirlpool.
At Casa de la Cuesta, privacy is guaranteed. The numerous windows (with rolling insect screens and shutters) and terraces enable plenty of sunlight and an impressive view around.

- Comfort and luxury
Casa de la Cuesta has been built in a well-thought manner and is equipped with all contemporary comfort. This starts already at the gate-secured parking place in front. The entire house has been finished with first-class materials and derives its quality from premium furniture and textiles. Amongst others, the kitchen has a granite countertop, a large refrigerator with freezer and an espresso machine. In the scullery next to it there is an integrated washer/dryer. The appearance of the dining and lounge areas breathes convenience and ambience and also the interiors of the bedrooms have been designed with care. Premium sanitary, high-quality towels, proper ventilation and pleasant heating also bring comfort to all bathrooms. Airconditioning or heating are available on request and there is a cosy fireplace in the living room. The house is well-equipped and has satellite television with DVD player and wireless internet downstairs.
In autumn and winter, the pool can be heated., at extra charge. At the water, it is ultimate enjoyment, either or on a sunbed in the sun, under the refreshing outdoor shower or at the barbecue…

Spending holidays together or celebrating something special with friends and family – due to its impressive size and practical layout, Casa de la Cuesta is highly suitable for larger groups, of which everyone can enjoy enough own space and privacy. (Also for six persons, the exclusion of the living areas downstairs leave 256 square meters, including terrace, extra kitchen and private pool. More than sufficient for a lovely stay!)
Families with children are very welcome at Casa de la Cuesta. A baby bed, travel bed and high chair are available on request, without additional costs.

- Sun, mountains and sea
The location of Casa de la Cuesta, at about 300 meters above sea level, largely determines the ambience of the villa. At the north side offers access to the white center of the special Frigiliana, which has repeatedly been rewarded as the most beautiful village of Andalusia. At the east side, there are the mountains of Sierras de Tejeda national park, a protected nature area in which one can go hiking nicely. The south shows the Mediterranean Sea, which beach (in Nerja) is just six kilometers away. Also cities like Malaga, Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba and Marbella are within reasonable reach.
The Andalusian climate is characterized by a pleasant temperature and much sun – all year round.

Setting

Casa de la Cuesta is situated at the edge of the beautiful village of Frigiliana, at the Costa del Sol. Situated uniquely at a mountain slope, the house has been built in three south-facing stories.
The front side of the house looks closed to give you privacy.
The other side gives a splendid view on the mountains (National Park) and the Mediterranean.
The villa can easily be reached by the A7 with the exit 933 to Frigiliana.
From Málaga Airport it is about 45 minutes by car to reach the house.

Activities and attractions

The area gives you an opportunity to climb mountains, make a walk through the woods, or just a stroll to Frigiliana (about 0,2 mile). Make a walk to Nerja through the riverbed (2 miles).
Excursions to Granada (45 miles), Cordoba (60 miles), Mälaga (35 miles) or Ronda (70 miles), make you stay unforgettable. Or or for the Caminito Del Rey with stunning views in one of the most dangerous trips in the mountains.
