The accommodation
It is a typical, large colonial house in the country, in La Toscana, offering 10 bedrooms, just a few kilometres from the centre of Montelupo Fiorentino. The building has retained its original features with baked clay paving from Florence and beamed ceilings.
Guests have two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a fitted kitchen with an electric oven and microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, iron and ironing board, two spacious porches, one of which is exclusive measuring 40 sq.m. with garden furniture and a barbecue, where you can eat and relax enjoying its coolness on the hot summer days. Florencia is some 18 km away, Pisa and Siena 60 km, San Gimignano 45 km.
The house is 4 km from the railway station and is therefore accessible by train; there is also a bus-stop just a few steps from the entrance.

The nearby Chianti hills offer a number of sports centres with swimming , golf , horse-riding and cycling facilities; bike hire for doing pretty cultural and wine&gastronomy tours, enabling you to admire the many pottery craft shops, an ancient local tradition and to savour the excellent local wines and cuisine.

Wonderful vacation in Tuscany
We (my wife and me) stayed at this house last week of May 2015. We really enjoyed staying there. The house is perfectly decorated with a lot of vintage things so you can feel yourself like living in museum as well as very convinient to use. The kitchen has more than everything to cook, a lot of cooking stuff and nice looking dinnerware. Location of the house is also very convinient to reach Florence, Sienna, Pisa and a lot of small beautiful Tuscan villiages and sights. The owners are very friendly, they know a lot about Tuscany and gave us couple of really great reccomendations what to see there aside of standard touristic destinations. Being informed that we arrive quite late Sunday Maria prepared fantastic traditional Tuscan dinner for us and also gave us some delicious food to taste during our stay. Maria and Marzio, thank you very much for everything!
Excellent Location
My family and I have really enjoyed this location. Traveling with 3 kids, its nice to have a starting point for any adventures in Tuscany. Its a 22 min train to Florence (5-7 minute drive to the train station), an hour to Pisa or Siena (you can hit San Gimignano on the way), or about 15 minutes to Chianti Road. Maria and Marzio are great hosts, always making us feel like family. Have been back since this trip and will return again.

Perfect Location!!
Really liked the house, well furnished and a fully equipped kitchen. From and rear porches are the ideal setting for breakfast or evening meals. The owners are exceptionally friendly and full of fantastic tips on how to make the most of Tuscany. we are sure they are the best choice we could have made. Maria and Marzio have been one of the reason we had such a fantastic time in Tuscany. Thanks for your hospitality.
