The accommodation
This is a newly refurbished studio flat, ground floor, with its own street entrance, available to rent for a single 3 month period over the summer period, June to August. It is in the riverside village of Cherta. It has 21 meters, consisting of a new shower room, a kitchen /living area with sofa and a sleeping area with two adult sized single beds. (One bed could be moved for single occupancy.) It comes fully furnished and equipped. WIFI, electricity and water are included.
Setting
The Ebro river and canal are at the end of the street and the village is surrounded by mountains. It is popular with cyclists, walkers and hikers, as the famous Via Verde (Green Way) passes through the village, on the old railway line, going up to the mountains and down to the coast. There is kayak and bike rental and a horse riding school. In the summer there is an outdoor swimming pool with a bar/restaurant.
Activities and attractions
The beach is 30 minutes by car, but there are also good bus and train connections via Tortosa, that has all the usual amenities: shops, indoor market, bars, etc
