The house is 10 minutes from both Seia and Gouveia, where there are all the supermarkets and basic services needed, such as banks, pharmacy, hospital, post office, transport network, etc.
Activities and attractions
Climb to the highest point in mainland Portugal, the famous Torre, and along the road you can make short stops in some of the most beautiful villages, such as Gouveia, Manteigas or Sabugueiro and enjoy the landscape along the way!
There's a Toy Museum in Seia, take a walk through Gouveia, Linhares da Beira, Loriga and see its river beach. Visit Vale do Rossim, Covão d’Ámetade, one of the most beautiful parks in Portugal, and the village of Sabugueiro, the highest village in Portugal. Lagoa Comprida, Lapa dos Dinheiros river beach, Poço do Inferno Waterfall. A walk around Guarda is also a good option. A little further away, you have Viseu or even the city of Covilhã and Poço da Broca Waterfall. At Christmas time, the village of Cabeça, in Seia, is unmissable.
