The accommodation

The house is comfortable and offers enough room for 5 people. It has a garden where you can enjoy to sunbathe and relax, barbecue in the back, which can be enjoyed during the day and even during the hot summer nights.

The house is located 1 km from the Lagoa de Albufeira and the beach (Atlantic Ocean). Near the famous beach "Meco" with its vast beach, even during high season and splendid fishing village of Sesimbra (10km) where you can enjoy good Portuguese fish.

Setting

Visit Cabo Espichel and marvel at the ruins of the oldest Marian sanctuary of Portugal (600 years).
You can visit the medieval castle of Sesimbra and the towns of Azeitão and Palmela. In Azeitão you can visit the Caves of José Maria da Fonseca wine and taste the Moscatel. If the 1st Sunday of the month, be sure to visit the Azeitão rural fair. At Palmela saw the medieval castle and be amazed by the beauty of the landscape.
Do not forget Lisbon (35km), certainly one of the most beautiful and cosmopolitan cities in Europe. Experience the hospitality of Alfacinhas (people of Lisbon), at night listen to Fado in the streets of the historic districts of Alfama, Castelo and Mouraria.
If you have time, do not miss a visit to Sintra (immortalized by Lord Byron) and Cascais (the village that gave refuge to as many crowned heads of Europe). The bright sun on the coast road of the Lisbon/Cascais will be an unforgettable memory.

Activities and attractions

You can also visit the city of Setúbal and cross by ferry to Tróia. Let yourself be carried away by the natural beauty of the estuary of the River Sado and do not be surprised if accompanied by dolphins. Step back over 2000 years, visiting Tróia Ruins. It is impossible to remain indifferent to the dominant presence of workshops and tanks where the fish was salty and did the iconic fish sauces sold throughout the Roman Empire. Have a drink in the renovated tourist area of Tróia.On the way back, treat yourself in the landscape of Arrábida.
