Villa for 15-18 people 1.8 km from the beach

We stayed for a week at Jaime and Montse's incredible villa. I had been in contact with Jaime about booking in January already, as I wanted to be sure about availability for this popular house. We were a big group of 15, two families, Danish and American, including small children. In the lead-up to the stay, Jaime was very service-minded and timely about the details of the rental conditions. Upon arrival Jaime and Montse gave us a thorough tour of the huge villa, and from then on, Jaime offered to communicate through Whatsapp for any questions we had. He is an incredible host who reacts quickly to any request by his guests. We requested an Italian coffee maker that could work with the induction stove, as well as an electric water heater (indispensable for many Nordic people:) - the same evening he dropped by with all of it, free of charge. He also borrowed me his huge paella pan for making a classic paella on the grill by the pool. We had dinner almost every night by the well equipped BBQ area by the pool. There was plenty of firewood and a big fridge for storing cold drinks and food. After half-day excursions to nearby attractions, we spent most of the time by the pool that has a nice shallow enclosed end for the kids. The rooms are spacious and most of them have as an AC unit. We also very much enjoyed using their board games in the basement as well as the table tennis table on the porch. As we checked out, we expected some money to be drawn from our deposit, as we accidentally had broken a couple of glassed and an umbrella. However, Montse and Jaime refused to be compensated for it - just another example of their warm hospitality and generosity:) Thanks again - we are already talking about returning next year! Beautiful villa with plenty of space for 4 people. After introduction to the kind and helpful owner, we have two weeks use of the villa. A nice side effect was that the fridge was filled with some cans of beer and cola two bottles of wine and water, and that was after a long hot car ride a welcome surprise Cubelles itself is not very touristy but the central location you have plenty of opportunity to explore the area, Barcelona (easy by train) Sitges, Cunnit, Calafell. In short, we had two lovely weeks of holiday in this beautiful villa.
