Verona: a house along Adige river!

The accommodation

The very spacious apartment is perfect for couples because it consists in a living room with TV, dining room, kitchen with dishwasher, oven, washing machine, 1 double bedroom and 1 bathroom. Plus a balcony overlooking the Torricelle, the hills of Verona, which boasts a unique view. If necessary, I can set up one extra bed.
Please do not smoke or pets allowed.

The house is the home of a couple who do not always live in the city so it is furnished with antiques and period furnishings and family together with any useful accessory for a comfortable stay. The house is often occupied by the owners so they ask the care of antique furniture and ornaments that have a history and sentimental value.
The house is located in a building with concierge, elevator and central heating.
Bed linens and towels are included.

Setting

The apartment is in a strategic position, it is within walking distance of the main monuments of the city. On the top floor of a building on Lungadige (river shore), a few steps from the historic center of the city, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, the Cathedral and the church of Santa Anastasia, Juliet's house. From the balcony of the house you can see the hills of Castel San Pietro and we are 200 meters from the Roman Theatre.

Activities and attractions

The area is full of shops and restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors and cafes. The apartment is perfect for those who come to Verona by train or plane, because once you got in the apartment in the city you can move either on foot or by bus.
If you arrive by car, there is parking in Piazza Isolo, near the house.

If you arrive by plane there is a connecting bus to the train station Verona Porta Nuova.
From 'Porta Nuova' the main railway station I suggest to take a taxi. The area is well served by public transport but it is not easy to find the way and the building if you do not know the area.
