The accommodation

What makes this location absolutely fascinating is the breathtaking landscape of the Ionian cost, the Gulf of Taormina and the mainland of Italy: a panorama enjoyable from all the sides of the house. Try to immagine this stunning picture ! The villa is totally built in lava stone. She spreads on 2 levels brights,spacious and cozy. On the first level we can find: the saloon, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, the pantry, a library and a bedroom with two single beds (one of which is very large). On the second level we have 2 suites with ensuite bathrooms. The interior is tastefully funished how you can see from the pictures. The exterior of the villa is enchanting, with an amazing panorama. There are a lot of relaxing corners among which: the pool between the impressive lava stone facade of the villa and the view of the Mediterranean sea; the BBQ area with the typical Sicilian stone oven (ideal for pizza); many relaxing lounges ... Everything fully immersed in a typical Etna's park (oaks, chestnuts, oriental hackberry (Minicucco in Sicilian) ...). The little village of Presa is almost 1 km away.
Please take note of the additional sums to pay on arrival:
Cleaning fee to be paid locally: € 150 in cash.
Damage deposit € 300 in cash, to be refunded on departure.
The electricity is included up to a consumption of 150 kWh per week. Beyond that limit it will have a cost of € 0,35 per kWh.
The heating is included up to consumption of 30 liters per week. Beyond that limit it will have a cost of € 1,50 per liter.

Setting

Piedimonte Etneo, one of the most charming towns near Etna, it's located on the north-east slope of the volcano. Its geographical position makes it an excellent base to visit some of the most precious touristic jewels of Sicily. In addition, every fourth week of September, it hosts the famous Festival of Harvest. Piedimonte Etneo is located between Etna and the sea, a stone's throw from the beautiful and famous town of Taormina, just a few minutes away. Nearby, also worth mentioning the striking Gole of the river Alcantara and the famous beaches of the Ionian coast.
