The accommodation

Beachfront apartment, located in a modern building, facing the Atlantic Ocean in Vila Nova de Gaia, 5 Km from Oporto.

This 2 bedroom apartment sleeps 4 people, is located in the first line in front of Lavadores beach, the modern area and the best beach of Vila Nova de Gaia. Ideal for holiday or short stay and also a nice place to live.

Large living room and kitchen, both sharing a large balcony pf 30 square meters facing the sea, where you can relax, sunbathe and admire the sunset. The living room is equipped with comfortable and modern sofas, has a 50-inch LCD TV, 150 + channel cable TV and free wireless Internet access of 100 Mb/S. The spacious kitchen is equipped with all the necessary equipment and kitchen utensils.

The rooms, one is equipped with Queen size bed. The other one is equipped with two single beds. It has a full bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub, and another with toilet and washbasin. Bath towels and new bedding are provided.

Setting

White sand beaches in front of the apartment. An extension of 15 kms of white sandy beaches, cycling lanes and jogging along the beach that can take you to the caves of the world-famous "port wine", just 6 km from the apartment.

A children's playground is located right in front of the building, by the sea.

The apartment is 200 metres from local seaside restaurants, bars and cafes, bakery with bread and fresh pastries throughout the day; It is 500 metres from the mouth of the Douro River, a place which is also a habitat for many species of birds; It is 5 km from shopping centres, 4 km from golf courses, 6 km from the historic port area and nightlife, with bars and live music. The city was recently awarded the distinction of best destination in Europe by international tourism magazines. A visit to Oporto by night is mandatory.

A quiet and relaxing place, close to everything. An automobile, though advisable, is not indispensable. A bus stop is right in front of the building.

A great place to spend your holiday, no matter if you go to the beach, sightseeing, make a historic tour, monumental or boat upstream, or if you will mix with the locals, feel the city heart beat and try their food, wines, customs, their way of living and their culture. Definitely it is not just fantastic for the Summer, but a great place to stay all year round.
