The accommodation

Perfect for one or two persons (+ a young child under 2 years in a travel cot), our smallest Casita Almendra comes with all the home comforts & simple pleasures of our larger Casitas, for both short & longer stays. The traditional design of the Casita is open-plan to offer the maximum space and light, full of character with high wooden ceilings, tiled floors and an open-plan living area - well furnished with modern fittings such as free Wifi, safe, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and freeview sat tv, as well as home comforts for cooler evenings including a squishy sofa, board games & books as well as woodburning stove with seasoned firewood.

There is a queen (150cm) double bed with completely separate, private en-suite bathroom, while the fully fitted kitchen has granite worktops, gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave & wooden dining table. The sitting room area has a comfortable sofa, wood burning stove & French doors leading straight out onto the stone patio - with free WiFi & Smart TV. An arrival shopping service & childminding are available too!

Outside, the private West facing stone patio offers a shaded pergola with sunbeds, BBQ & alfresco dining for two - while to the side there is a lawned private garden area with wooden swing chair under a shady tree for lazing away. The safely fenced Casitas 5m x 10m swimming pool is set in the gardens with a large sun terrace and pool house with bathroom/changing room, surrounded by colourful and fragrant climbers.

El Sueño Finca is a relaxed & mellow retreat in a peaceful rural location, the antithesis to a managed holiday resort - where adults can sit back and relax in their own private space, while children run free to explore and meet new friends in several acres of gardens. The four 1, 2 & 3 bedroom Casitas (cottages) are named after the closest of the trees that surround them, each have their own private shaded patio & garden, sharing a swimming pool safely fenced for little ones & two play areas for children set in the central gardens. Two bedroom Mimosa Casita is also adapted for those with mobility/wheelchair requirements, while both three bedroom Casitas Alcornoque and Pimienta are also popular for families & friends. The spacious and peaceful Cortijo del Sueño (original farmhouse with Moorish origins) with four en-suite bedrooms has its own private swimming pool, so perfect for families and friends to share or a base for larger groups. Setting

Welcoming guests for 20 years (many who return more than once), Finca El Sueño is found in one of the most unspoilt areas of the Costa de la Luz, nestled into a secluded valley by the sea between the hilltop 'white village' of Vejer & the seaside towns of Zahara and Barbate. There are four regional airports of Jerez, Seville, Gibraltar and Malaga, offering a wealth of choices for guests from all over the world. The closest train station is Jerez airport and a good system of buses serve the region, with the closest main bus station at the foot of Vejer hill (Barca de Vejer). Taxis are available locally. However, we recommend car hire to explore the area fully.
