The accommodation

The flat is on the second floor (without lift) of an old building overlooking Piazza Parasio. On one side of the flat you can see towards the sea, on the other side towards the mountains. Through the entrance door you enter the kitchen-living room with a balcony overlooking the square and a glimpse of the sea. The kitchen has a pantry room. From the kitchen, one door leads to the large living room and the other, through a wardrobe area, to the double bedroom. The large living room also leads to the double bedroom and the small bedroom with sofa bed (two single beds, one of which can be pulled out). Both rooms have a bathroom with shower and windows. The style of the house is typical of these buildings: vaulted ceilings and arches. Windows of different sizes, marble grit floors and period tiles. The furnishings have been carefully designed and decorated by me to make this holiday home warm and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped, but if anything is missing, we will provide it. In the house you will find information material about the area in several languages, a map and house rules.
There is no air conditioning because the flat is very cool in summer.

Setting

The flat is located in the heart of the medieval village of Parasio in Imperia Porto Maurizio. Guided tours are possible to learn about the interesting history of the area. The area is a restricted traffic zone, therefore very quiet. From 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m., from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. and from 7.00 p.m. to midnight, it is possible to enter by car for loading and unloading, but only in the evening hours it is possible to park in the blue car parks. Outside the restricted traffic zone it is possible to find paid and free (white) parking spaces. The sea can be reached by shortcuts on foot (downhill/uphill stairs), by the free lift service, and by the free electric shuttle. In the village there are two restaurants and a pizzeria open in the evening.

Activities and attractions

In the area, it is possible to engage in all kinds of sea-related sports activities, go whale watching, visit museums, follow wine and food routes, and easily reach France and lower Piedmont. The hinterland deserves some excursions. We will be happy to provide you with useful indications according to your tastes.
