Review
Good bits : The villa was a good size and set in a great location, the children loved the games room and the pool The garden area was well maintained. Bad bits : The villa has not been maintained, with electric plug sockets hanging out of the walls, the toilet in the ensuite bathroom smelt of bad drains and the tap water /shower never got hot. The pool filtration system was not sufficient meaning the water had a green tinge some days my two children were ill due to this.The blankets smelt and the beds were tired to say the least. Overall: We had a good holiday due to the fact we were out and about a lot, this is the real Portugal with great food and drink, great scenery and the weather was fantastic. Maria was a great help too. The electric sockets and Pool maintenance need addressing urgently! If the owners were to spend some money and update the villa to include kitchen utensils, new beds and blankets etc ,then I would have no hesitation in returning. We will be returning to the area next year and would hope that some of the points above will be addressed.
