Laspuña is a very small, peaceful, and charming village of no more than 150 inhabitants.
Located in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, 12 kilometers from Aínsa and 35 kilometers from France, in the Alto Cinca Valley, at the foot of Peña Montañesa. It has splendid bathing areas near the village.
It's a good starting point for countless excursions: it offers around 1,000 kilometers of well-marked trails, the Ordesa National Park, the Chistau Valley, the Añisclo Valley, Escuaín, and the charming villages of the medieval town of Aínsa, and the picturesque Bielsa, Plan, San Juan de Plan, Gistaín, Tella, and other very small towns, some uninhabited and frozen in time.
Several museums are worth mentioning in Sobrarbe: Ethnographic Museums (Aínsa, San Juan de Plan), the Nabatas Museum in Laspuña; the Sobrarbe Global Geopark in Aínsa; the Witch's House in Tella; the Museum of Musical Ingenuity in Labuerda; and the History Museum in Bielsa.
The nearest ski slopes are in France, in Piau Engaly and Saint Lary.
In addition to mountain activities, hiking, and mountain biking trails, you can enjoy adventure activities and a wealth of cultural and architectural treasures. If you're coming with children, there are specific routes of easy to medium difficulty (suitable for families) that are relatively short so the little ones can enjoy nature.
The roads are perfectly maintained, allowing you to reach any point by car and are in optimal condition. Mountains, rivers, waterfalls, canyons, lakes, a national park, chamois, deer, bearded vultures, eagles, and much more await you in Sobrarbe.
In addition to this wide range of tourist and cultural attractions, the culinary offering is also very attractive, with high-quality restaurants for all budgets.
Setting
At our accommodation, we want you to enjoy an unforgettable stay, surrounded by nature and with all the comforts you need. We know that your pet is part of the family, which is why we gladly welcome up to two pets per booking (upon request), with an additional fee to ensure everyone's comfort.
We offer free Wi-Fi so you can stay connected at all times — whether you want to share your best photos or plan your next adventure in the area.
If you love sports and outdoor activities, you’ll find a complete sports area right in the village. It features an Olympic-size swimming pool perfect for swimming laps and a shallow pool where children can play safely, all surrounded by a large green area where you can relax in the sun. There are also paddle tennis courts (reservation required) and a tennis court, ideal for having fun with family or friends.
The surroundings are a true paradise for nature and water lovers. Near Laspuña, you can explore two stunning rivers with crystal-clear waters: the Cinca and the Ara. Along the road from Laspuña to Lafortunada, the Cinca River offers multiple natural swimming spots where you can cool off and enjoy a unique environment. Meanwhile, the Ara River has beautiful areas for swimming along the route from Boltaña to Fiscal, perfect for those seeking tranquility and a deeper connection with nature.
Come and discover a privileged setting, ideal for relaxing, playing sports, and experiencing authentic adventures, all in the company of whoever you choose — including your furry friends. We look forward to welcoming you!
Activities and attractions
Laspuña, located in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, is an ideal destination for nature lovers, cultural explorers, and adventure seekers. From the village itself, numerous hiking trails begin, such as the ascent to Peña Montañesa, an iconic peak offering spectacular views over the Cinca Valley. Nearby, you’ll find the Añisclo Canyon, an impressive gorge within the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The scenic viewpoints of Revilla and Escuaín are also worth a visit, perfect for spotting bearded vultures and taking in dramatic mountain landscapes.
A few kilometers away, the village of Tella offers routes of archaeological and natural interest, including the Bear Cave and the Dolmen of Losa La Campa, as well as the Hermitage Route, a beautiful trail connecting several Romanesque chapels in a stunning high-mountain setting. In terms of heritage, the San Victorián Monastery stands out — one of the oldest in the Iberian Peninsula — along with several rural chapels scattered throughout the area. Traditional structures like the “esconjuraderos,” once used to ward off storms, reflect the region’s deep-rooted cultural traditions.
