The accommodation

The villa comprises four apartments, two with a garden and two with a terrace, all completely independent. Pets of any kind or size are not allowed. Rates vary based on the season and number of occupants. The first apartment is located on the ground floor and features an outdoor shower, fountain, and garden barbecue. The interiors include a large kitchen/living room, bathroom with shower, two double bedrooms, and a double sofa bed in the living area. This home is ideal for a family of up to six. All apartments are equipped with a gas stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, kettle, pots and pans, dishes, shower, bidet, television, washing machine, iron and ironing board, air conditioning, and garden chairs and table. (Towels and sheets are available upon request.)

What to do in and around Paestum
1. Paestum Archaeological Area Admire three of the best-preserved Doric temples in Europe: the Temple of Neptune (Poseidon), the Basilica of Hera, and the Temple of Ceres (now interpreted as the Temple of Athena). Explore the remains of the Roman amphitheater and the mighty city walls with their four gates and towers: truly evocative panoramic walks. 2. National Archaeological Museum of Paestum
It houses extraordinary finds, including the famous Tomb of the Diver, the only surviving example of Greek wall painting.
It also houses ceramics, votive offerings, vases, including fine examples of Paestan ware, and objects from the necropolis and sanctuary of the Heraion.
3. Necropolis with tomb paintings
Over 500 tombs decorated with vivid and realistic frescoes depicting scenes of everyday life, dating back to periods between the 5th and 3rd centuries BC, have been discovered.
4. Velia (Elea)
A short distance from Paestum lies the ancient city of Velia, an ideal destination for history lovers: within its walls lie the remains of Roman villas and the Porta Rosa, an elegant Greek monument from the 4th century BC.
5. Beaches and marine activities
The Paestum coast offers quiet, sandy beaches, perfect for relaxing. Some are equipped with facilities, others are more public, but easily accessible from the town center.
