House for 2-4 people with private garden

We stayed at this beautiful house in August 2017 with our 2 cocker spaniels. On arriving we were met by Luis who was very pleasant and spoke good English. The little touches in the house ie. Jams, cake, toiletries etc were just lovely and showed that Luis and Esther have great pride in looking after their guests. The weather wasn't too good for the first few days, we even wore our rain jackets, but it was so lovely to return to the gorgeous house each day. The garden and surrounding areas were maintained and kept beautifully. It really did make our stay in Cantabria perfect. We walked for miles with our dogs and wore them out 😊 as there were plenty of places to visit with them. All in all a wonderful holiday that we would recommend and will do again.

We stayed ar the horreo for two weeks in August, 2015 while attending a training course in Santander. What a wanderful retreat surrounded by sloping mountains and the sounds and scents of the Cantabrian countryside. The horreo is of exceptional design and quality, kept to the traditional style with high level furnishings and many beautiful details. The kitchen is fullyy equipped to the highest standard, the hosts Luis and Esther have thought of everything you might need and even more. They are very caring wonderful people. We enjoyed the evenings in our beautiful private garden, as well as the cycling and walking in the neighbourhood. Our daily 25 min drive to Santander was easy too, as there was not much traffic on the roads and the route was scenic, really enjoyable. What a unique experience! We highly recommend this property.

Amazing experience in the middle of Hazas de Cesto, we have enjoyed every minute at the Horreo despite the bad weather. Decoration was so nice and the place so comfortable that we felt like home. We've also enjoyed some biking through the Cantabric's countryside. In addition, thanks to its good location, we were able to reach both Santander and Bilbao after a short ride along the coast. All in all, a great stay there. Finally, Esther and her family were very nice with us. We even forgot some stuff over there and she was kind enough to send it to us.

We had a wonderful stay at the horreo in July 2012. It is not like usual holiday houses but constructed with great consideration for details and the interior and the equipment is of excellent quality and standard. Space inside is limited, however, so we would recommend it for two people only. The external kitchen for cooking beneath the building is fully protected from rain but of course not from cold or windy weather (although the curtains help a lot). So the place is most appropriate for use in summer. The horreo is located in the very beautiful garden of Esther and Luis, who fully respect the privacy of their guests (and even their little dogs do so!). Last but not least we would like to stress that they were very amiable and supportive hosts. So if you want to spend a recreative holiday at an ideal location to visit beaches and places of interest between Picos de Europa, Burgos and San Sebastian, this horreo at Hazas de Cesto is a very recommendable place.

He estado alojada en la casa hórreo durante 5 noches, el sitio es maravilloso, si buscas relajarte y olvidarte del mundo es tu sitio, a la casa no le falta ningún detalle, tiene de todo lo necesario para pasar unos días y se encuentra todo super limpio, toallas, sabanas, amenities en el baño. La dueña te recibe con una cesta de bienvenida que es todo un detalle y te ayuda en todo lo que puede. En mi caso el único inconveniente es que no se trata de un recinto cerrado perimetralmente, pues el primer día que llegamos mi perro se escapo, pasamos un buen susto, y nos dimos cuenta que el recinto esta abierto y el perro se podía escapar por cualquier sitio, eso nos condicionaba a que no podíamos soltarle y tuvimos que tenerle atado el resto de los días, al igual que los perros de la dueña venían donde estábamos y mi perro a través de los cristales los veía y se ponía nervioso .Esta cerca de muchos sitios maravillosos que poder ver, noja, isla, ajo, santoña, laredo, etc

La casa es tal y como aparece en las fotos, preciosa y muy bien equipada con todo lo que puedas necesitar. Está dentro de la finca de los propietarios, pero totalmente independiente, con un bonito jardín, y ellos están pendientes de ayudarte si lo necesitas, pero respetando en todo momento tu privacidad (muchas gracias por todo, esther!) el entorno es perfecto para descansar y también para poder hacer mil planes porque está muy bien comunicado con todo (ciudades, playas, cabárceno...) recomiendo muchísimo este alojamiento, sobre todo si, como yo, tienes un perrete. Nosotros hemos llevado al nuestro y ha disfrutado tanto como nosotros.

El mejor lugar para alojarse y desconectar para descansar tienes todas las comodidades esther es una anfitrión excelente nos puso un montón de detalles para desayunar y para el baño y cerca de muchos lugares bonitos para repetir seguro

¿Qué añadir a lo que ya se ha dicho? entorno ideal para paseos, a poca distancia de todo, ... y lo que más la atención y cuidados recibidos por Ester.

Una casa muy limpia, contiene todo. Una duena muy simpatica. Un entorno estupendo para caminar, banar en el mar, visitar cuevas, visitar ciudades y aldeas. Que vacaciones encantaroras!

Una casita pequeña pero acogedora y funcional, no le falta detalle, tienes todo lo necesario para sentirte como en casa.... Un jardín idílico, mis dos perritos y nosotros lo disfrutamos muchísimo.... Esta cerca de muchos sitios turísticos... La propietaria, un encanto de mujer esta al pendiente de todo 6 a la vez respeta tu intimidad... Hemos estado de lujo y repetiremos sin duda. Gracias
