The whole house opens on glass over the garden and the two small fish ponds, which is very pleasant even at night as the garden is lit and heated on cold nights!

The configuration of the house with direct access to the street avoids contact in common areas as it happens in other accommodations (hotels and apartments).

With an excellent location in the heart of Porto, set in the lush and exotic garden of a typical house of Porto from the end of the 19th century, this house allows you to enjoy a relaxing and refined atmosphere in the heart of the city.

The house consists of glazed spaces over the garden, with living room, bedroom with a comfortable double bed, kitchenette and bathroom, which through three sliding panels allow to isolate the area of the room where the sofa bed for two persons is (1, 45 x 2.05), making this space a second room independent of the dining area.
The silence and tranquility of these spaces are guaranteed by double glazing.

The kitchen is fully equipped, including vitro-ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, grill, espresso machine, coffee machine, kettle, etc. And in the house there is also a washing machine and vacuum cleaner, 26 ”LCD television and Wi-Fi available.

On the floor above the house there is an ample glazing made of glass brick from the garage, which is for your exclusive use if you come by car!

Setting

Excellent public transport links with underground station at 100 meters (direct line to the airport).
800 meters to Campanhã train station and 1000 the São Bento train station.

If you arrive by car you will have garage: it is the floor above the house with the large glass brick wall.

If you arrive by plane, take the metro to Porto and get off at "24 de Agosto" station in the center of Porto. On "Campo 24 de Agosto" square get the street flanked by trees, which is Duque de Saldanha Street, where you will find the house at less than 100 meters.

If you arrive by train take the metro beside the train station.

Activities and attractions

Located in the interestig neighborhood of Fine Arts School, with a very characteristic ambience that offers traditional and alternative shops, and traditional Portuguese cuisine.
Supermarket, pharmacy, bank and ATM within 100 mts.
At 5-minute walk from S. Lázaro Garden, the oldest city garden, with terraces and restaurants, from Café Magestic in St. Catarina Street, and from the amazing Bolhão market.

The neighbourhood of Bonfim, Porto, is the fourth coolest neighbourhood in Europe, according to The Guardian in an article published on Feb 8, 2020, entitled "10 of the coolest neighbourhoods in Europe”.

There are no malls in Bonfim, but plenty of cool independent stores, mostly on Santo Ildefonso St.. Keep an eye out for bookshop Inc., a recent outpost of lifestyle outlet Patch, and the intimate emporium of cheeses and preserves that is Queijaria Amaral (all at Santo Ildefonso).
Being home to Porto university’s fine arts faculty means Bonfim has always had an active arts scene. For contemporary art, the Senhora Presidenta (65, Joaquim António de Aguiar St.) and Lehmann + Silva galleries (179, Duque da Terceira street) never disappoint. For fans of documentary photography, the recently launched Salut au Monde! (620, Santos Pousada St.) is a must.
For superb views over the Douro, stroll around the Parque de Nova Sintra (Barão de Nova Sintra St.). Once private, this small leafy park is now owned by the water authority and has a wonderful collection of old fountains.

Eat and drink:
One of the joys of Bonfim’s relative seclusion from Porto’s tourist boom is the plethora of old-school places to eat. For a classic neighbourhood dinner, try Madureira’s (Rodrigues de Freitas St.) for grilled tiger prawns or a francesinha (doorstep meaty sandwich). Local favourite Casa Aleixo (Estação 216) does a mean octopus with rice. Pulled-pork sandwiches at Casa Guedes (130, Praça dos Poveiros) are another local staple. (…)”, as well as Casa dos Pregos (Santo Ildefonso street), for tasteful pregos and also francesinhas.
