The accommodation
Old Canarian house more than 100 years old with lovely views of the Garajonay Nature Reserve and Teide volcano.
It was renovated in 2010 preserving all its former arquitectural elements, such as stone and mud, and its cupboards, but at the same time endowed with all the comforts of a modern house.
The house is comprised of the following rooms :
*2 double bedrooms with single beds
*1 bathroom with shower and hair dryer
*Lounge – dining and kitchen
*The kitchen is equipped with: ceramic hobs, oven, fridge/freezer, dish washer, toaster and mixer
*Lounge has possibility to put a sofa bed
*House is adapted to disabled people

* 2 large terraces ,one with views of the Nature Reserve and Teide volcano (solarium), and the other at the back of the house that has a barbecue, fuelwood oven and sink
The holiday cottage ”Las Avestruces” is situated on the edge of the Garajonay Nature Reserve in the Cruz de Tierno area.
The Garajonay Nature Reserve is a world heritage site of UNESCO.
An authentic laurel forest 40 kms wide
You find fog, ferns, trees, and flowers in spring. Ideal for lovers of nature and hiking.
In this area you can have lovely walks in the Garajonay Nature Reserve, as well as excursions on a donkey in a small park near the house.
