Setting

Castelldefels beach is a long sheet of fine sand located about 18 km south of the city of Barcelona, ​​​​between two well-differentiated natural systems: the delta of the Llobregat river, with its wetlands and reedbeds, and the calcareous massif of the Garraf.
It has a total length of 4.8 km, an average width of 90 meters and a total area of ​​approximately 500,000 m2.
On the beach of Castelldefels we can practice water sports, bathe in the calm waters of the Mediterranean, sunbathe and stroll peacefully.
The beach is equipped with showers, litter bins, wooden walkways to access the sand, children's play areas, watchtowers and chairs, sanitary cabins, etc.
Bathers have the following services at their disposal: access for people with reduced mobility to the water, rescue and first aid, daily cleaning of the sand, loudspeakers, wi-fi service from c/ 4 to Plaza de las Palmeras, barracks for drinks and ice cream, hammock rental service and fixed restaurant establishments on the Paseo Marítimo between 9th and 23rd streets.
