Setting

The house is located 200 mt from the beach at the north end of the town, about 700 m from the center. Quiet neighborhood and direct access to Mojacar and the surrounding beaches.

Activities and attractions

Carboneras is a small town with a long beach promenade with restaurants and leisure areas. There is also a marina and a fishing port. You can book boat trips through the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata, rent jet skis and scooters, kite-surfing, etc.
The famous Playa de los Muertos is 10 minutes away by car. Within 15 minutes you can enjoy the protected coves of the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata.
Carboneras is located 15 minutes from Mojácar, a typical Andalusian town on top of a mountain and many kilometers of beaches. A lot of nightlife.
Carboneras is also 10 minutes from Aguamarga, a summer village with a special charm.
45 minutes away is the city of Almería, a city with cultural heritage and a large port, worth visiting (Alcazaba, Almería Cathedral, Civil War Shelters, Caliphate quarries).
They are also interesting to visit the Sorbas Caves about 30 minutes away.
Visits with children: Mini Hollywood of Taverns and Zoo 45 minutes away. Water park in Vera and Roquetas de Mar.
It is convenient to take a car to cover the entire coast of Cabo de Gata. It is a protected space with excellent beaches, coves and views. From Carboneras there are a couple of daily buses to Almeria and also to Mojacar. It is 40 minutes from Almeria airport by car and 45 from the city of Almeria.
