The accommodation

The Mansión del Indiano building is the legacy of a colonial house dating back to 1880, built by Antonio Pernas, a native of Viveiro and one of many emigrants to Cuba who made his fortune in the textile industry, leaving his mark on his hometown by making charitable donations to improve the infrastructure of the area at that time, including the road from the national schools to Fondon, and the Magazos cemeteries. He was an influential person who enjoyed the friendship and collaboration of Dali in some of his projects. He built the Fondon villa, now replaced by the Mansión del Indiano building in honor of his name, which is one of the best examples of colonial architecture in Galicia. Today, all that remains is the cypress tree in front of the façade, a witness to the history of one of the many Galician emigrants who left in search of a better future.
Quiet residential area with leisure facilities nearby and the heart of the shopping area. Beach just a few meters from the apartment. For nature lovers, Viveiro offers beautiful hiking trails and cultural alternatives to learn about the history of our town within the historic center. Our surroundings stand out for the quality of our white sand beaches, gastronomic and seasonal festivals, medieval festival, and Resurrection Fest rock music festival.
