The accommodation

At the foot of the beach, with direct access from the urbanization to the beach of San Miguel is this spectacular flat of 100 square meters with all the comforts, decorated with love and in detail. The flat is fully equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, mixer, oven, coffee machine, electric cooker, all the necessary kitchenware, clothes horse and hairdryer. It has fans in all bedrooms and air conditioning in the living room and master bedroom. It measures 100 square metres, and has two bedrooms with two single beds and an en-suite bedroom with dressing room and 150cm bed. It has two complete bathrooms, and a terrace of about 20 square meters also equipped with table and chairs. The exit of the urbanization is direct to the sea, and has paddle courts, basketball courts, swimming pool for adults, children's pool and garden area with tables and chairs and children's playground.

Almerimar, the tourist centre par excellence of El Ejido and a high standing urbanisation with a complete holiday infrastructure and planned with ample spaces from its origins.

Almerimar has 5 kilometres of urban beach and as many kilometres of unspoilt beaches, within the protected natural area of Punta Entinas-Sabinar. The beaches of Almerimar are not fine golden sand, but rather coarse-grained and greyish, and although they do not have as much charm as the more traditional sand, we are grateful that it does not stick to us and bounce around. The beaches of Punta Entinas have a finer grain, and are frequented by naturists who practice nudism.

Activities and attractions

This coastal urbanization belongs to the city of El Ejido, and constitutes an important nucleus of tourism focused on golf, beaches and nautical sports. Being close to the city of El Ejido it has all the necessary services, such as the Poniente Hospital. To the east it borders the town of Roquetas de Mar but is separated from it by the protected natural area of Punta Entinas-Sabinar.

Sport in Almerimar has two main protagonists: golf and water sports.

The Almerimar golf course has 18 holes and more than 800,000 square metres of surface area. Golf is a tourist attraction in this area all year round, as both the conditions of the course and the weather allow players to enjoy this sport all season long.

Water sports are the star of this town as it has the second largest nautical sports club in Andalusia, two windsurfing schools, a kitesurfing school and a rowing and canoeing club. In the yacht club you can rent boats for a ride on the sea, and if we are going to stay a few days we can sign up for one of the intensive windsurfing courses that are organised. In the lake of the urbanisation you can practise olympic canoe rowing.
