Casa Vale de Água is a cosy and comfortable detached house located in the peaceful village of Val de Água, Alcanede, in the municipality of Santarém. Surrounded by nature and the serenity of the countryside, it offers the ideal balance between rest, privacy and convenience, being close to everything you need for a memorable stay.

With typical 1980s architecture and a family atmosphere, the house has been carefully renovated to offer all modern amenities without losing its original charm. Here you will find the perfect space for those looking for a relaxed atmosphere, whether for a romantic getaway, a family holiday or even for professionals on the move who value comfort and tranquillity.

🌿 Environment and location

Casa Vale de Água is just 2 km from the village of Tremês, where you will find grocery stores, cafés, a pharmacy and other basic services.
Ten minutes away, in Alcanede, there is an Intermarché supermarket and other shops, and 25 km away is Santarém, a city rich in history and culture, with a hospital, a variety of restaurants and all the necessary infrastructure.

Thanks to its central location, Casa Vale de Água is also the ideal starting point for discovering the country:
• Fátima, Nazaré and Lisbon are less than an hour away;
• Golegã, famous for its Horse Fair, and CNEMA, home to the National Agriculture Fair, are also nearby.

The area is perfect for those who enjoy contact with nature, outdoor walks, strolls through typical villages or visits to places of interest such as the Mira de Aire Caves, the Olhos de Água do Alviela or the Alcanede Castle.

🏠 Description of the house

The house is completely independent, with private access and entrance.
It is located next to the owner's residence, which ensures greater security and immediate support whenever necessary — without compromising the privacy of guests.

A friendly German shepherd lives in the outdoor courtyard, in a fenced-in area with no direct contact with guests. In addition to posing no danger, she contributes to a safer and more welcoming environment.

The house has unobstructed views of the countryside and a calm atmosphere, ideal for relaxing.

Upon entering, you are welcomed by a bright and cosy atmosphere, decorated with simplicity and good taste, prioritising comfort and the feeling of ‘being at home’.

The house includes:
• Spacious living room with sofa, television and dining area;
• Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and all the utensils you need to prepare your meals;
• Free Wi-Fi, ideal for those who need to stay connected or work remotely;
• Air conditioning and heating, ensuring comfort in any season;
• Bed linen and towels included;
• Basic toiletries available on arrival.

🛏️ Bedrooms

Casa Vale de Água offers three comfortable bedrooms, carefully prepared to provide a peaceful night's rest:
1. Master bedroom: double bed, spacious wardrobe and abundant natural light.
2. Second bedroom: two single beds, ideal for children, friends or travelling companions.
3. Third bedroom: can be prepared as an additional bedroom or support space, depending on the number of guests.

All bedrooms are bright, well ventilated and decorated in soft tones for a feeling of calm and well-being.

The house also has a full bathroom with shower and hairdryer, and a support toilet (if applicable).

Outside, you will find a patio and open space, perfect for relaxing, having breakfast outdoors or simply enjoying the tranquillity of the countryside.
The environment is safe and family-friendly, ideal for children and pets.

There is free parking next to the house, with easy access and total convenience.

🐾 Pet Friendly

At Casa Vale de Água, your pets are very welcome!
With plenty of space to move around and a safe environment, it is the ideal place to travel with your four-legged companion.
In the event of any damage caused by animals, only compensation corresponding to the damage will be charged — a fair and transparent policy.

According to current Portuguese legislation (Law no. 23/2007, of 4th July, and Ministerial Order no. 287/2007, of 16th March), all tourist accommodation is legally obliged to communicate the details of all guests, regardless of nationality, including Portuguese citizens, to the competent authorities (CEF - Comunidade dos Estrangeiros e Fronteiras).

This procedure is mandatory and aims to ensure safety and compliance with applicable legal standards.

We therefore ask for your co-operation in providing the following information at the time of check-in:

• 🕓 Check-in and check-out times:
Check-in is between 4pm and 8pm (flexible depending on availability) and check-out is by 11am.
If you need a different time, just contact me in advance — I will do my best to accommodate your request.
• 🧼 Comfort and cleanliness:
The house is carefully prepared before your arrival. We only ask that you leave it in good condition when you leave, as you found it.
• 🐾 Pets:
Your four-legged companions are very welcome!
We only ask that they behave well inside the house. In the event of damage, compensation corresponding to the damage will be charged.
• 🚭 Smoking is not permitted inside the house, only in outdoor areas.
• 🔇 Respect and tranquillity:
As this is a very quiet residential area, we appreciate your respect for the peace and quiet, especially between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
• 🧑‍💼 Support during your stay:
I live in the house next door and am always available for any situation that may arise. My telephone number is displayed in the accommodation.

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire house, ensuring total privacy and comfort during their stay.

They will be able to enjoy:
• 🏡 The entire house, including the living room, fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms;
• 🌿 Private outdoor area, ideal for relaxing, having coffee outdoors or enjoying the sunset;
• 🚗 Free parking next to the property, easily accessible and reserved for guests.

The villa is completely independent, although located next to the owner's house, who will be available for any support or information you may need — always with total respect for your privacy.

The patio where a German shepherd is located is a restricted area, with no direct contact between the animal and guests, only a presence that reinforces the security of the space.

Casa Vale de Água is located in Vale de Água, a quiet rural area that belongs to the parish of Tremês, in the municipality of Santarém.
It is the ideal place for those seeking rest, privacy and contact with nature, far from the fast pace of city life.

There are no direct neighbours, except for the owner, who lives in the house next door and is always available for any assistance.
Opposite the property is a factory, which operates discreetly — you can only hear the buzzer when employees arrive and leave. Outside these times, the environment is very calm and quiet, perfect for relaxing.

The neighbourhood is essentially composed of fields, olive trees and rural landscapes, providing an authentic and serene setting, typical of Ribatejo.
Here, guests can enjoy the fresh country air, peaceful walks and a genuine sense of peace.
