Casa do Mel is a warm and comfortable accommodation, ideal for those seeking tranquility in the heart of Serra da Estrela. The space blends modern simplicity with rustic touches that reflect the mountain atmosphere of Sabugueiro. The house was designed to provide comfort throughout the year, whether after a snowy day or a relaxing moment exploring trails and lagoons.

The house offers a spacious and comfortable environment, perfect for families and groups who need room and convenience. It features 4 bedrooms: three with double beds and one with bunk beds, plus a double sofa bed in the living room and two additional sofa beds in two of the bedrooms, allowing up to 12 guests to stay comfortably.

The interior combines modern and rustic elements. The entire house is equipped with air conditioning, ensuring comfort in every season. The kitchen is fully prepared for long stays, with an induction hob, dishwasher, various utensils, and both filter and capsule coffee machines. A washer‑dryer is also available for added convenience.

The living room is spacious and welcoming, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring, and includes a large TV. The dining room seats 12 people, perfect for shared meals and social moments. The bathrooms are practical and functional, offering everything needed for a pleasant stay. Every area has been arranged to make guests feel truly at home, with full privacy and independence.

Casa do Mel is located in Sabugueiro, a mountain village where the weather can change significantly throughout the year. In winter, cold temperatures and occasional snowfall are common, so we recommend bringing appropriate clothing and, if arriving by car, always checking road conditions. Snow chains may be required, though not always essential.

Parking in the village is public and free, although availability may vary depending on the season. The entrance is independent, and check‑in is simple and fully autonomous.
