Activities and attractions

This small apartment will welcome you to the upper part of the historic Alfama district, one of Lisbon's most typical neighborhoods. It's right in front of the National Pantheon and a few steps from the Feira da Ladra flea market, which brings life to these quiet streets every Tuesday and Saturday. Tram 28 passes nearby (300 m) and at Santa Apolónia Station you can find buses, metro and trains to the entire area. The Santa Clara Garden, with its kiosk and playground, will welcome you for brunch, coffee or a glass of wine with its wonderful view of the Tagus River. If you want to listen to some nostalgic fado or eat fresh sardines, you will easily find popular or cozy restaurants in Alfama. The Monastery of São Vicente de Fora, São Jorge Castle, the sunny terraces of Portas do Sol and Graça, the Fado Museum, all within a short walk!
