In the second half of the 19th century, thanks to the internationally acclaimed painters Luigi and Francesco Gioli, it became one of Tuscany’s most refined cultural salons, closely connected to the Macchiaioli movement. Within these walls, artistic visions, ideas, and intellectual exchanges flourished, leaving a profound mark on Italian art history. The residence has been preserved with the utmost respect for its 19th-century architecture, offering spacious, harmonious, and elegant interiors where historic charm blends seamlessly with contemporary comfort.
