The accommodation
Casa Tanja is located at the beginning of the Maryvilla residential area in Calpe, on a sunny cul-de-sac. The waves of the Mediterranean are just a few meters away in a straight line.
As soon as you wake up in one of the three bedrooms, you can see the endless blue and enjoy it all day long—whether from the glazed dining area in front of the kitchen, from the covered barbecue area, and of course by the pool. The apartment, the terraces, and the pool are all on one level—pure relaxation.
A few steps above the parking area, you can enter the house directly via a staircase, or go a little higher and enter the covered barbecue terrace without any steps—greeted by the wide views over the sea.
Restaurants, tennis courts, and a bathing cove are within walking distance, and the beautiful Puerto Blanco bay with its small, modern marina and restaurant is only approx. 1.2 km away.
The covered terrace behind the pool is also very practical. There you can relax in the shade on a sun lounger and enjoy meals with family or friends on the cozy stone bench with the table in front of it.
Air conditioning, fast internet, and the Smart TV in the living room round out the vacation enjoyment for everyone.
Only the large lower apartment shown in the photo is rented out. The upper apartment remains closed during the rental period and is not accessible to guests.

Bedrooms: 3, all three bedrooms with sea views.
All bedrooms are furnished with single beds that can also be pushed together; each bed is 0.90 m wide x 1.90 m long. Two bedside tables and two wall lamps to the left and right of the beds; all three rooms have a built-in wardrobe (shelves and hanging rail). The three rooms have windows with sea views, mosquito screens in front of the windows, curtains, exterior shutters, and bars in front of the windows.
Since spring 2025, the 3 bedrooms are equipped with new double-glazed windows, with exterior shutters and mosquito screens, as well as new air-conditioning systems for cooling and heating.
1 travel cot and a wooden high chair are available. There is also a small plastic table with two low plastic chairs for the little ones.
Bathrooms: 2, one with bathtub, washbasin, WC, modern, illuminated mirror (from April 25). The other bathroom has been modernized and has a large shower with a glass wall, washbasin with vanity unit, mirror. Both bathrooms have a window with a mosquito screen. Both bathrooms have modern wall-mounted fan heaters above the door.
From the parking area, a staircase leads to the entrance of the house (approx. 10 steps) with a barred front door. The door opens into the large hallway, from which the three bedrooms are to the left, and to the right are the two bathrooms and the living-dining room. Further on are the kitchen and the pool area. The house can also be entered from the barbecue/pool side, thus avoiding having to climb stairs.
In front of the living room there is a glazed terrace with 2 wicker armchairs and a wicker table—with views of the pool and the sea. From here there is also direct access to the living room (mosquito-screen door in front of the living room). In front of the kitchen there is another glazed terrace that serves as the dining room, furnished with a heavy stone table and 6 garden chairs. Also with views of the pool and the sea.
Living-dining room: upholstered three-seater sofa, 2 upholstered armchairs, 1 rocking chair, and 1 coffee table. Next to it is the rectangular wooden table with 6 comfortable chairs from 2025, also air conditioning.
Kitchen: separate, fully equipped, with a door to the glazed terrace and a lattice door, as well as a door to the hallway.
Solarium terrace next to the pool with beautiful, wide sea views; next to it there is a covered terrace area with views to the other side of the sea as far as Calpe. Equipped with a stone bench, a plastic dining table and 2 chairs for relaxed dining in the shade, space for three sun loungers; the clotheslines are also located here.
Pool size: kidney-shaped 8 x 4 m. Depth: approx. 1.40–2.50 m – only suitable for swimmers. With Roman steps and interior lighting. There is a garden lamp on the front terrace; the covered barbecue area is lit and has a power outlet. Outdoor shower.
Garden: planted with Mediterranean shrubs, hedges, and trees along the garden walls.
Car/parking: The garage remains closed and is not accessible to guests. Parking for 2 cars on the property. The driveway to the property is open to the residential road / cul-de-sac. The driveway first goes left towards the neighboring house, and then leads uphill around the bend to the guest parking area, next to the closed garage.
Equipment
Electric kitchen / induction hob with 3 cooking zones—one of which can be extended; with electric oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, washing machine, iron / ironing board.
50-inch Smart TV, German channels / Astra 1 and with a Spanish antenna on the roof for regular Spanish TV channels.
4 air-conditioning units—one installed in the living/dining room as well as in the three bedrooms, all cooling and heating, new in 2025 A+, 2 pedestal fans, NO fireplace—the open fireplace in the living room must not be used! Two electric fan heaters in the bathrooms.
Covered charcoal barbecue, 8 garden chairs and 2 tables, 6 sun loungers, 1 parasol, as well as the covered terrace area behind the pool—facing the driveway.
Setting
Quiet location in the Maryvilla residential area, on a cul-de-sac; approximately 100 meters as the crow flies to the sea. Two restaurants are approximately 300 meters away: Restaurant Maryvilla offers takeaway breakfast rolls, and the other, Tenis Oscar, is approximately 400 meters away and also rents tennis courts to non-members. A hotel/restaurant with a sandy beach is located in the bay of Puerto Blanco, approximately 1.2 km away. Nearby is a short coastal path with via ferratas at Toix. Approximately 600 meters from the house, steps lead down to the small bay of Les Urques. One of the two large sandy beaches in the center of Calpe is about 3.5 km away. Here, a long promenade lined with shops and numerous small restaurants invites you to stroll.
In the center of Calpe, about 3 km away, there are many shops, supermarkets (including Lidl/Aldi and Mercadona), cafes, and restaurants. On Saturdays, there's a large weekly market selling clothes, flowers, fruit, vegetables, and more. Calpe's two large sandy beaches, with a beautiful promenade and some ancient ruins, are easily accessible from the main road. Calpe's small but charming old town, with its castle ruins and restaurants, is well worth a visit. Altea, with its beautiful old town, numerous restaurants, and shops, is approximately 9 km away.
