The accommodation

The property is located in the quiet village of La Vajol, an ideal setting to relax and enjoy nature. The house is spread over three floors, offering spacious and well-defined areas for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
On the ground floor, there is a large entrance hall, perfect for storing bicycles if you plan to explore the local routes. This level also includes a toilet and a cozy room designed for relaxing, listening to music, or simply unwinding.
On the first floor, you will find a bright living and dining area with access to a balcony and a fireplace that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen is also located on this floor, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.
On the upper floor are the bedrooms. The main bedroom features a 160 cm double bed, a premium mattress, and a selection of pillows to ensure maximum comfort. The second bedroom has two 100 cm single beds, also with premium mattresses and a variety of pillows. The bathroom with a shower is also located on this floor.
All rooms are exterior, providing plenty of natural light, and the house has wifi coverage throughout.

The property includes a washer-dryer, a hairdryer, and premium mattresses to ensure the best possible rest during your stay. It features city gas heating and ceiling fans in the bedrooms for year-round comfort. Firewood for the fireplace is also provided. In addition, you will find guides with recommendations for the best routes in the area, as well as a parking area just a few meters from the house.

Setting

Guests will have access to the entire property. The house is rented as a whole, so all rooms and amenities are included during the stay.

La Vajol is a small municipality in Alt Empordà, located in a unique natural setting, in the Les Salines massif and very close to the French border. Surrounded by mountains, forests, and tranquility, it is an ideal destination to unwind and enjoy nature.
Its rural character, authentic atmosphere, and historical value — linked to the Republican exile during the Spanish Civil War — give it a special identity. In the surrounding area, you can also visit the Romanesque church of Sant Martí de La Vajol, the Canta or Negrín mine, and the Route of Exile.
