House with 2 bedrooms 9 km from the beach

We genuinely could not have asked for a better experience at La Malatería. Having lived in Spain for a couple of years, we've stayed in quite a few places and this is honestly the best one ever! The house is stunning and spotlessly clean, the location and view unbeatable and the welcome we received was fabulous, the hosts even taking the time to show us how they were making their own cider that day. They made it very clear that they were on hand to help us with anything we needed however they left us totally in peace otherwise. There are some lovely restaurants just a short drive away and the nearest town is well equipped with supermarkets etc. We chose to eat out during the day and stayed in to make the most of the house and fireplace in the evening. The house is very well equipped for cooking although I would recommend taking a good sharp knife if you're planning to cook anything "proper." All in all, this place is a must-stay if you're planning to visit rural Asturias!
