Wonderful house of 19th century recently restored, located in a large farm with 2 private pools, gazebo, barbecue, apacamiento for cars within the farm, meadow of 4200 m2 with fruit trees and Orchard grass. The House has 460 m 2 spread over three floors, 6 spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen, hydro-massage shower, wifi, TV and various entertainment...
The Villa is situated in Prases, a small village situated in the Valley of Toranzo, which is in the Centre of Cantabria, and is covered by the River Pas. Its location is privileged within the province since you can visit tourist areas in short space of time.
The Valley is known, in addition to by its natural wealth, by having several caves of rock art, like coins and La Pasiega, as well as the outstanding archaeological site La Spina of the Galician. The Valley is part of the core of the PAS culture, known among other things for its gastronomy. So, are typical and from here the sobaos and quesadas, in addition to finding good cooked Highlanders.
Balneario de Alceda, and the Balnario of Puente Viesgo is located in the area. You can take walks and cycling on the banks of the River Pas.

The house is spacious, pleasant, clean and well furnished, in a rural setting with views of green valleys, hillsides and trees. The kitchen and bathrooms are attractively modern and well equipped while the rest of the house is furnished in a pleasantly old-fashioned style which reminded me of my grandparents' house. Personally I found the kitchen a little small when trying to cook for 12 people; the hob has only 3 rings. However the kitchen equipment provided (pans, knives etc) was very good. The views from the front of the house are beautiful as you can see right across the Pas valley. The garden is also attractive with plenty of space for sitting outside, running around and playing games. The covered swimming pool was big enough for 5 children and very useful as the children were able to swim even on rainy days. The owners were friendly and helpful; they did not intrude on us at all but came quickly when we experienced a problem with a light fitting. It is worth being aware that the house is close to a busy main road, so there is traffic noise during the day and part of the night, but for a family from London the traffic noise was OK, and the proximity to a good N road means that the house is a good base for exploring the wider area. We were able to reach the beautiful beaches at San Vicente de la Barquera in about 40 minutes.
