The accommodation
Flat perfectly conditioned to spend a happy holiday in the Rias Baixas or Rias Baixas in a picturesque village called Vilaxoan. Its town council is Villagarcia de Arousa and it is 40 km from Santiago de Compostela, 20 km from Pontevedra, 20 km from Padrón (birthplace of Rosalia de Castro) and of course a stone's throw from Sanxenxo, O Grove, Camabados and all the little villages of the Rias Baixas. It is ideal.
Attention.!!!!!!!!!! To all the festival goers in A illa de Arousa! It is 8 km from the rock festival to be held in July. There are no more hotels! ,,,,

Setting
It is located in the centre of the village and just in front of the marina.
The entrance and exit of the boats that go to the sea every day for fishing and also the mussel boats is spectacular, this location is unbeatable as it is 20 m from the blue flag beach. It enjoys wonderful views of the river with unforgettable sunsets that can be seen from the terrace, the living room and the main room, and has all the comforts of being in the centre of the village to enjoy its terraces, bars and good restaurants.
It is important to highlight its pazos and its Romanesque church from the 12th century.
A quiet place and at the same time with atmosphere, very close to Sanxenxo, La Toja, Pontevedra, with very good communications by road and train, close to two airports (Santiago, Vigo). Pontevedra at 18 km.

A fantastic location with excellent views of the port, especially at sunset. Although on a main road it is very quiet. The property is well-positioned for visiting other places of interest, and there is an excellent bar (ask Maria, the very helpful owner, who will point you in the right direction) that serves large portions of local food at very reasonable prices. Our one top tip would be to buy a detailed map of the area: the roads are a complex web that even the locals complain about! As far as the accommodation goes, it has everything you need, though the soft seating in the lounge isn't really sufficient for more than 2 (which shouldn't really be a problem as you're not on holiday in such a fab area to watch tv!). However, as this is the first year of the place being rented, I'm sure this is something that will be addressed in the future. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and would certainly use it again.
