The 2 Ha property is located 1,5 km from the closer town. You can enjoy different areas inside the property:

The house is built following ecological criteria directly related with the solar powered and energy efficient. It is a pure volume, just one floor, built with just 2 materials: concrete and glass with spectacular views, as you can see in the photos.
The walls of the big living room are 2 vast windows with shutter that help to control the sun and protect the house.
The 2 bedrooms are located in every end of the house with their own bathrooms which allow both rooms to have privacy.
The property is located in an isolated area in the middle of the countryside and surrounded by rural paths that will allow you to go biking or walking.
You will need:
-10 minutes by car to enjoy the Agabanzal reservoir, completely virgin where you can enjoy swimming.
- 30 minutes by car to reach Puebla de Sanabria, a beautiful town with an important historic heritage. Very close to this wonderful villa you will find "Sanabria Lake", a natural park with the biggest glaciar lake in Spain completely protected.
- 50 minutes by car to reach Leon, where you can enjoy MUSAC, very important Comtemporary Art Museum, and Zamora, one of the Spanish villas full of marvellous examples of Romanesque Architecture

We had a wonderful time in a most beautiful house and environment. The owners welcomed us with produce from their garden, vineyard and farm and made us feel so special. Really a superb experience to stay in such an architecturally beautifully designed home. It is a great destination to explore the Spanish "hinterland" and is definitely recommended.
Utter relaxation in the middle of el campo
We spent three nights at the villa and wished we could have stayed longer. The house itself is wonderfully comfortable in addition to be really architecturally cool! There are two bedrooms on either side of the house - each with its own bathroom - and a wonderfully spacious living room/dining room/kitchen open-space in the middle. Both sides of the house have huge windows that open every which way producing wonderful ventilation and the sense of a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. The decor fits well with the architectural design and the house is equipped with everything you could need (vinegar, oil, condiments, shampoos, etc). Beyond the house, the property of the house is lovely as well - with a small vineyard in the front and a beautiful deck (with comfortable deck furniture and retractable awnings), pool, and yard in the back. We brought our puppy who was in heaven as he could run free the entire time (since the property is completely fenced in). The location is tranquil and is set on a maze of dirt roads leading to the surrounding towns amidst the fields - roads great for end-of-day walking. To top it off, the owners and the parents of the owners (who live in the village) are wonderful. We planned this on very short notice and Javier (the owner) was exceptionally prompt in his responses and in setting up the arrangements (including sending a list of things to do in the area - hikes, restaurants, etc). Furthermore, once there, Javier's parents helped us settle in - providing us with a wonderful welcome basket of wine (from the vineyard in front), potatoes, homemade and canned tomato frito and peppers, and local range-free eggs), taking us on a quick tour of the village to identify the different service areas (the butcher, the baker, etc) and the next day giving us a tour of the wine process that they do (in their basement) each harvest. On the final day, when we went to return the keys (and buy some wine), they gave us even more eggs and supplies from their garden! All told, this is a wonderful house in which to really disconnect (there's no internet in the house, but there is internet in the nearby village) and we hope to return!
