House for rent only 400 meters from the beach

This is a lovely property for families as it has a good sized pool, a lawn, trampoline and an indoor games room with table tennis and snooker. We were two families with children aged 9 to 12 years and they had great fun. On rainy days they could still swim as the pool is covered and as well as the games room there is a covered outdoor table (basically an open converted garage) where they could play cards in private and watch the rain. Views are wonderful as there are no neighbours adjacent and there is ample room around the pool for sunbathing/reading, not to mention a lovely outdoor table with awning for meals. The main restaurant area is a 20 minute walk, but there are some informal places nearby. There are a few beaches within walking distance and many within a 15 minute drive. We hope to return one day!

It was a great week in the house of Leiro. We could BBq every night but there was also a great restaurant in a 5 minute ride. The pool was great. The kids enjoyed their selves really good also at the first Floor of the house with the pool table and Ping Pong table and the trampoline in the garden. It was nice that the pool was next to the terrace so we had good sight at our youngest Son. We got clean towels for pool and bathroom half the week great service!! And they arranged the taxi to the AirPort. Muchas gracias!!!!!

Have just returned home after spending a wonderful 9 days in this beautiful house with our children + grandchildren. It was our 4th trip to Galicia (we love it there) which were also very good, but this was certainly the best. The location is perfect - just minutes away from the port, beautiful sandy beach, local shops, excellent restaurants, markets etc...but at the same time very rural + private. The house has everything - comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, spacious living + dining area, outdoor areas for dining, a trampoline in an enclosed safe garden AND a swimming pool that can be enclosed (very safe for children) or open whichever suits. Owner Reyes was only a phone call away if required, and had wonderful local info to pass on. I truly hope to return again - next year hopefully. Only negative - an annoyance really, which was out of control of owner, was dogs (a lot of them) barking nearby but it wasn't all the time. We were all very sad that our holiday came to an end - could've done with another couple of weeks there. As the main tourist season hadn't started, it was quieter - just the way we like it. A little piece of Heaven.
