The accommodation

This spacious three bedroom, two bathroom apartment is ideally located in the heart of Mojacar Playa, just a moment’s walk from bars, restaurants and golden sandy beaches. This attractive top floor apartment is air- conditioned throughout and boasts a terrace with sea views.

The apartment is situated on a lovely beachside complex with a large communal swimming pool. The pool is surrounded by lawned gardens with tropical plants and parasols, ideal for lounging in the sunshine before taking a dip in the pool.

On entering the apartment, a hallway leads you into a bright and spacious lounge/dining room with stylish modern furnishings. The apartment has English TV(non specific channels) and a music system in the lounge. Patio doors take you from the lounge onto a lovely south-facing terrace with sea views and an outside table and chairs set.

The separate kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, oven and hob, fridge freezer etc. There is also a separate utility room leading off the kitchen.

The large master bedroom enjoys the luxury of an en suite bathroom with a bath/shower and a stylish marble finish. The second and third bedrooms are spacious twin rooms with views over the pool. The main bathroom has a bath/shower and the same luxurious finish as the en suite.

The apartment also has secure underground parking. However, with supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants just a moment’s walk away, this apartment is also ideal for those who don’t wish to drive.

Situated on an attractive and spacious complex right next to golden sandy beaches, this apartment is an ideal holiday location.

Setting

The region of Almeria is one of the most charming and unspoilt areas in south-eastern Spain. Enjoying the sunniest and warmest climate in the whole of Europe, it is known as ‘El Rincon del Embrujo’ or ‘the corner of enchantment’. This is the real Spain!

Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful
restaurants and bars.

The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays.

Garrucha is the nearest town, about three miles away. It is a little fishing port with interesting fish and street markets.

Granada is one of Spain’s most interesting and beautiful ancient cities. After a pleasant drive through the mountains, visit - on foot - the 14C Alhambra, the citadel of the Caliphs of Granada, perched on a hill overlooking the city, and the nearby Generalife gardens. Then on to the cathedral where, in the Capilla Real (royal chapel), the Catholic monarchs Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella of Castille are buried, and the Silk Bazaar.
