The spacious kitchen is equipped with all necessary equipment and kitchen utensils.

An extension of 15 Km of white sand beaches, cycling tracks and "jogging" along the beach that can take you to the cellars of the world famous Port Wine, just 6 km from the apartment. We provide 2 full suspension aluminum bicycles for free use of guests.
A Children's playground is located near the building, next to the sea.
The apartment is located at 20 meters of beachfront restaurants, bars and cafés, a bakery with fresh bread and pastries throughout the day; It is 700 metres from the mouth of the Douro River, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean, which is also a habitat of many species of birds in the area; It is at 5 km from shopping centres, 5 km from golf courses, 6 km from the historic area of Porto and the nightlife, with bars and live music. The city was awarded one more time the distinction of best destination in Europe in 2013 by magazines of international tourism. A visit to take a drink, a "glass of Porto" in the "night of Porto" is then "mandatory".
It's a calm and relaxing place, close to everything. An automobile, although recommended, is not indispensable. There is a bus stop immediately in front of the building.

It's a great place to spend your vacation, it doesn't matter if you go to the beach, to walk, to make a monumental or historical "tour" or boating upstream the Douro, or whether you mix with the local population, feel the heartbeat of the city and experience its food, wines, traditions, their way of life and culture. My husband is Portuguese and from Vila Nova de Gaia but we live in Belgium. So each time we go to visit his family, we rent a flat. As our usual place was busy this Summer, we stayed in this apartment. Wow! What an improvement to our previous flat. This accommodation has everything you can want; it looks brand new and has all the necessary amenities. It's spacious, very clean, has great beds and strong internet (for those of us who have to work whilst on holiday, it's great). The location can't be underestimated either... great views! The only challenge is the garage; it's steep and small but it works. And if you don't feel ok to drive into the garage, there's plenty of parking right in front of the flat. Also have to say something about Marcos: very friendly and accommodating host! We're definitely going back.
Superior apartment, clean, spacious, modern, decorated and furnished with fine taste, aimed at comfort, functionality of space and elegance. Located on the beachfront, the apartment has a large balcony with a magnificent view over the sea. It's an invitation to fill the eyes of sea and sky blue, have our meals and stay till the end of the magnificent sunset. There are numerous beach side restaurants, beach bars and shops right next to the building. Freshly baked bred and pastries in "Principe de Salgueiros" at 100 metres (the croissants are superb). The supermarket is however at one mile from the apartment. There are two new bikes to enjoy the long and pleasant miles of cycling track along the beach. A bus stop is located less than 50 metres from the apartment. However I recommend to rent a car to enlarge your freedom of choice and mobility Ideal place for beach holidays and city, where I will return soon to spend my summer holidays.
