The accommodation

The farmhouse "Podere Biancospino" is located at 400 Mt. above sea level and it is the ideal place for those who are in search of a holiday in nature and in the quietness of the Tuscan country. This ancient house goes back to the '8oo and it was restored following the principles of bio-architecture. The garden is completely equipped with a gazebo which is near a barbecue with tables and chairs around it. Here you can have your meal at the shadow of high trees. Along a path of about 30 mt. you can reach the swimming-pool of 5x12 mt. with roman stairs equipped with deckchairs and sun-umbrellas. Being the farmhouse on a hill you can enjoy a cool temperature even during the hottest months and this will make your stay absolutely comfortable.

Setting

For those who love good wine please note that our farmhouse is in a geographically perfect location in order to visit the most famous wineries in Tuscany which produce excellent red-wine. These wines come from the best Tuscan hills and are famous all over the world with brands such as Chianti, Nobile di Montepulciano and Brunello di Montalcino.

Activities and attractions

Golf
Midst the Tuscan hills "golf lovers" may reach in 30 min. from the farmhouse a nine-holes green plus a second 18-holes green at 45 minutes drive.

Bicycle
Another proposal is a mountain-bike excursion lead by a skilled biker who will guide you through the most fascinating routes and paths of the surroundings.

Tuscan cuisine and wine tasting
On request and to whom it may concern a professional "chef" is available for a complete cooking course, from making the food to presentation at the table.

Horse-riding
Just at a stone's throw from the farmhouse and exactly at a distance of 7 km. there is a horse-riding school where you can also ask for guided excursions around the Tuscan countryside.
