The accommodation

Villa Carta is located in Cinisi, a lovely town near Palermo. The house has a panoramic view over Punta Raisi and the Gulf of Castellammare. The charm and the position of the villa is emphasized not only by the structure built with typical local materials such as stones, wood and terracotta but also by the luxury furnishings and the wonderful garden.
The villa is structured on two levels. You may access it from a spacious veranda that leads to the living room – a very elegant and refined room characterised by the use of local stones and the fireplace as well as by the furnishings and decorations made with attention to the smallest details. Through the staircase it is possible to reach the upper floor. A small corridor leads to the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary and characterized by different objects belonging to the old Sicilian tradition such as the collection of copper pots and a dining table in the so called Sicilian poor art . Near the kitchen is available a little laundry. On the ground floor there are also two double bedrooms and a bathroom with tub. Both rooms are well furnished and comfortable. One of these bedrooms has also a private bathroom with shower and view over the garden.
On the first floor there is a little lounge that overlooks the living room on the ground floor and can be used as conversation or play room. A stone arch leads to a further room with sofa and studio. On the first floor there are also one double bedroom and another two bedrooms with twin beds, all of them well-furnished and comfortable. The second bathroom is with shower. All bedrooms have a garden view and a charming sea view. Outside, Villa Carta is surrounded by a wide and beautiful garden where it is situated the swimming pool. Close to the pool there is the external kitchen with barbeque and wood stove suitable for preparing original dishes of Sicilian cuisine. The dining area is composed of a table and benches . The external kitchen is equipped by utensils and household facilities. The guests can live the external spaces in total privacy and comfort. Because of the large external and internal spaces, the villa needs a particular care necessary for its full functionality that’s why there will be a caretaker who can facilitate the stay and the vacation of the guests. There is available as well a maid for the house-maintenance or a cook for cooking dishes on spot. These further services are upon request and are paid separated.
