Clean appartment in lovely area
Myself and my boyfriend stayed in this apartment for a week. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The terrace is perfect with some great views of the mountains and the sea and the small pool was very refreshing, Maro is a very quiet and beautiful village with some nice restaurants and the people are very friendly.Unfortunately the beach is 25 minutes away on foot and its all downhill so its a very steep climb back up, Its a short bus ride into Nerja and the buses are very regular. The owners were very nice but the didn't speak any English. All in all we had a fantastic stay and really loved Maro and will definitely be returning.
Quiet place to stay
Appartment - very clean - in little village Maro (near the caves of Nerja) with a very nice terrace on the roof and a small pool for the children (they loved it!). We had breakfast and dinner on the terrace and enjoyed relaxing here very much. You can walk to the beach (about 20 minutes to Maro beach). There are two little mercado's in Maro. Also very few restaurants. Very hospitable owners, living just around the corner. The appt (especially the living room / kitchen is small but the roof terrace more than compensates this
