The accommodation

Two rooms apartament , modern and comfortable, well furnished and equipped.
With 2 large terraces (10 m2) one overlooking to the sea and Taormina bay and on the est side to the volcano Etna. Located in a quiet area but only 100 mt. from the sea and the center of Giardini-Naxos with restaurants, shops, beach and the promenade just few meters far. The bust stop is only 20 mt. far, with buses going to Taormina every hour.

The apartment has one bedroom with double bed plus a single bed. The living room / kitchen, is spacious and bright and has a sofa bed for 2 persons and an american kitchen all furnished.

Setting

Giardini-Naxos is connected to Catania airport by highway A 18. (Messina-Catania)

From the airport it is possible to use the bus service. www.etnatrasporti.it, the bus stop is few meters from the apartment.

Taormina-Giardini railway station is about 2.5 km from the apartment . To reach the place from the station you can use public transports or taxy.

Giardini Naxos is well connect by the highway and railway to all the most important cities in Sicily. You can travel along the cost, from est to west in few hours.

Activities and attractions

The resort of Giradini Naxos is perfect for those who want to enjoy the sun and sea of Sicily in full relax.

Along the promenade Tysandros are many bathing establishments, fully equipped. Some of them also with beauty center, fitness, miniclub,soccer and beach volley fields. The promenade is also ideal for long walks and jogging. In the nearby is also a Tennis field, and Diving center.

We will be happy to suggest you the best restaurants and bars where you can try Sicilian specialties. Along the promenade are also many boutiques and local artisan shops.

At only 10 minutes by walk you can reach the resort of Recanati, with amusement park and nightclubs.

The famous city of Taormina is only 3 km far, easily reachable by bus and car, with his Greek theater, and the beautiful "Isola Bella". We also recommend an excursion to the "Gorges of Alcantara" few kilometers away.

We can provide all the information about excursions on the Etna volcano. where is possible to try sports like climbing and trekking. During the winter time the Etna is equipped with ski slopes.

The city of Catania, is about 40 km far , and easily reachable by train, bus and highway.

During the summer we recommend excursions to the beautiful Aeolian Islands reachable by boat.

Other beautiful places to visit in Sicily are the city of Syracuse, the temples of Agrigento , The city of Noto , all the west cost with wonderful beaches , and the city of Palermo.
