House for rent in La Herradura, Costa Tropical

Antonio is a very good host and has excellent communication from his side. The apartment is as described and well located with parking. Really great place, excellent value for money. Everything is as it seems in the photos !

My family and i really enjoyed the time we spent in los girasoles. The small village is located on a hillside and the place will delight you with peace and quiet. You will enjoy breathing fresh air and watching on the stars in the night (very rare things for a person who lives in city). To my mind, the place is excellent for families with small children. The house has everything you need (all equipment is in a good condition). The children especially were delighted with the stairs. There are a lot of plants and trees around the territory of both, the house and the settlement itself. And the view will please you at breakfast in el patio. I’m grateful to sr. Lopes, his family and carmen for the opportunity to stay in la herradura. Thank you, carmen, for your guide around the rural places of granada and sierra nevada places. The places are incredible! i hope we will be able to visit los girasoles again

When we decided to spend 2 months of our winter(Jan-March 2017) in Costa del Sol, we first focused in the Malaga area. As we started to look into the details, we moved further away from Malaga, Torremolinos and Fiengirola areas because of the high rises and the crowds of tourists. So as we started looking East, and La Herradura really attracted our attention. It is a sleepy small town with no building higher than 4 floors along the beach and a beautiful bay with surrounding mountains. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes along the beach. After we arrived in La Herradura, and visited the surrounding areas of Almunecar, Nerja, Torrox, and Torre del Mar, we were so glad that we made the right choice in La Herradura. The house sits in a development in the surrounding mountain, with a partial view of the sea from the terrace, and a better view of the sea from the balcony of the 2nd floor bedroom. From the house it is a 10 minute walk down to the village and beach, or a 3 minute drive. The house is very well equipped, with satellite TV, and WIFI. The kitchen is very well provided with all the pots and pans and other utensils, and a laundry room with a washing machine. The house is well appointed, clean, spacious and above all, very sunny. I really liked sitting in the sunny terrace in the afternoon. All in all, we were lucky as this was the perfect place for us for the 62 days. However, I think a car is highly recommended to take advantage of the beautiful secluded beaches and mountains in the surrounding area. There is so much to see and do here! Now the owner, Sr. Antonio, is a wonderful person to do business with. He is extremely courteous and very prompt with all your questions or needs. A gentleman in every sense of the word. Even though he doesn't live near the property, his local manager, Sra. Carmen, will take care of your needs. He really made us feel welcome and I would definitely recommend this gem of a place! I certainly would come back again in the future!
