The accommodation

In a peaceful forest setting in the hills above Málaga, this studio sits isolated on top of a futuristic villa and is the only holiday accommodation in the building. The studio is accessible directly at street-level via a small footbridge. Two terraces with panoramic views have sun all day long. One of them offers privacy. The modern small penthouse makes you feel good.

The space
Large glass surfaces in front of the two terraces let in a lot of light, you feel like you are in the middle of nature. In winter, in addition to the morning sun, a central hot-air heating ensures a cosy atmosphere.

The apartment is ideal for a couple and in every way separate from the rest of the sprawling house. You meet, if at all, only by the pool with its waterfall, which is accessible through the garden for guests and is lit up into the night.

Guest access
A private door to the street (nearly no traffic) allows direct access. From the terrace you also have the car in view.
The pool is always accessible through the garden for guests. It is lit until late at night. He is not heated. There is a covered pool bed for two persons.
You basically just meet by the pool, if that. If you feel like having coffee with us, just let us know. We are happy about it. Otherwise we leave you alone. The Mini-Penthouse is not suitable for children and adolescents.

Other things to note
There is a bottle of cava to welcome, all for the first breakfast and a pizza is also in the freezer. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Bathrobes and a hair dryer are also available. A full French bed (160x200 cm) is ready. Regardless, there is a second pull-out couch for one person. Internet: In addition to WiFi, there is also 100 Mbit Ethernet on request.
Typical beach equipment (umbrella, mat, etc.) are available, as well as a used golf equipment.

Setting

Pinos de Alhaurín is a large urbanization on the edge of Alhaurín de la Torre, with single-family homes only. It is said that it is the best residential area. There are many commuters to Malaga.
There is also a local bus, which leaves at nine in the center tomorrow and at noon at one. That's great for shopping. The price level in the shops and restaurants is acceptable as Alhaurin de la Torre is not a tourist area.

In the town itself there are buses to the airport and to Malaga as well as to the beaches. These start south of the port of Malaga and end in Torremolinos and Benalmadena. There are beaches for every taste, including nudists.

Your mini-penthouse in Pinos de Alhaurín is truly central to excursions and sports activities. You can reach the most worthwhile destinations by car in less than an hour.
Only the recommendable Gibraltar visit is scheduled for two hours, which does not include crossing the border. Depending on the current political weather conditions, half to two hours are required for entry, up to four or five on departure, when things are going very badly.

Marbella: over the A-404 and then the A-355 it is beautiful and in the second section of mountainous to Marbella, you meet at the shopping center La Cañada on the highway to Marbella. From here you can quickly visit Puerto Banús for luxury yachts. These are surrounded by just such boutiques. From midnight, the nightlife rages here.
However, if you drive straight ahead, you will get directly to Marbella. Right hand you are then right in the old town (Casco Antiguo). Especially the eastern part of Marbella has beautiful beaches.
Back you can also take the pay motorway AP-7, and at the height of Torremolinos through the tunnel on the E-15 straight to exit Alhaurín de la Torre. Toll-free on the coastal highway A-7, which meets behind Fuengirola on the AP-7. On the A-7 is a maximum of 80 km, the local speed traps are profitable.

Torremolinos and Benalmádena with its sports port: The whole slightly morbid area should be better in the dark visit, especially since the nightlife in the summer at least before midnight starts. The traffic jams at three in the morning with violently trilling policemen are a show.

Malaga center: that has something. The pedestrian old town houses almost all museums and borders the harbor. Countless pubs of all kinds are close together and are mainly frequented by locals, which makes the appeal. Therefore, the price level is acceptable. The shopping streets around Calle Larios form an imposing boutique landscape, which apart from the well-known brand shops also has many interesting owner-managed businesses.

Ventas: These are rural places where the whole population sits at noon on Sunday. In Alhaurín de la Torre begins the Guadálhorce Valley, which was originally predominantly agricultural, better horticultural, was used. Despite the more or less legal scattered development, it has retained its appeal. The Ventas are usually located on the country roads between the individual "white villages".

Golf: Starting with the nearest Lauro Golf to Ryders Cup Valderrama Square in Sotogrande are over 60 or more courses between 9 and 27 holes strung like a string of pearls. Apart from some "Beautiful People" clubs, the price level for guest players is moderate.
The Lauro Golf, reachable by car in under 10 minutes, offers 27 holes in the middle of nature. Attached is an equestrian center.
Also easy to reach via the E-15 in a northerly direction is the Gudalhorce Club de Golf with its 18 holes in the approach path of the airport.
Alhaurín Golf & Hotel Resort is located in the neighboring municipality of Alhaurín El Grande, and can be reached in less than half an hour.

Transportation
It is recommended to book a rental car when booking your flight. Before signing the car rental contract on arrival, check that no expensive additional services have been postponed. Parking on the (empty) street in front of the apartment.

There is a local bus that leaves at nine in the center tomorrow and at noon at one. That's great for shopping. In the town itself there are buses to the airport and to Malaga as well as to the beaches. Night owls, however, have to take the first bus back at six in the morning.

By car, you can reach the city center of Malaga with its numerous multi-storey car parks within 15 - 20 minutes by car outside rush hours. Then you are right in the old town (casco antiguo) with the famous shopping streets (Calle Larios) and the many museums.

If you are here for business, you are just as fast in the Parque Tecnológico de Andalusía (PTA) or tourist in the vast valley of the river "Guadalhorce" with its numerous rest houses (Ventas) and in the surrounding "white villages".

It only takes a few minutes to get to Malaga airport and the shopping centers in front of it. It is not much further to the beaches of Torremolinos and Benalmádena.
