The accommodation
Wonderful house at the mouth of the Miño River in the village of O Rosal, known for the fantastic and beautiful vineyards, located just opposite Portugal on the other side of the mouth of the Miño River.
The house was built a year ago by its owner who is an architect. All the furniture was also new and all the decoration and lighting was also new.
The house has a plot of 1200m2, has a swimming pool with a cover that heats the water in summer if the cover is left closed at night. The garden has a small grass soccer field to play on a field located below the level of the house/pool. It also has a barbecue for cooking in the garden. It is fully furnished and decorated.
DEPOSIT AND DELIVERY OF KEYS OF THE HOUSE:
Check-in from 16h in the afternoon, with the delivery of the keys of our house.
Departure before 10h in the morning.
The deposit will be returned the day after the departure of the guests from our house.
Setting
Five kilometers from the house is the fishing village of A Guarda.
The house is next to white sandy beaches located on the islands of the Minho River and on the mainland bathed by the Atlantic Ocean.
There are also wonderful tourist and picturesque villages in the vicinity in the whole area of the border between Spain and Portugal.
Activities and attractions
The area around the village of O Rosal has an excellent microclimate and is known for its extensive vineyards, where the most famous Galician white wines are produced.
The whole area has good restaurants in the surrounding villages, with typical Spanish and Portuguese food of fantastic fish, meat and vegetables.
There is a restaurant 3 minutes drive from the house.
From the front door of the property there are wonderful hiking trails and dirt tracks where you can hike and bike over 60 kilometers.
There is a kayak rental five minutes' walk from the house at the jetty on the banks of the River Minho.
You can also walk, cycle or drive along the Pescadores trail, the Molinos de Folón and Picón trails and the ascent to Monte Tecla.

Big modern and stylish house with fantastic views
A beautiful, modern and stylish house near to the miño river. Fantastic views from any corner. Javier and family did an amazing job in redecorating an old country house to make it a comforable holiday home. Every detail has been carefully thought, including a vast and interesting library. A music room, fireplace, spacious kitchen and two terraces, including a pool and a football court are part of the house. We had a great time there
