We believe we have a truly unique place – thanks to the refinement of our facilities, the tranquillity of the surroundings, the isolation from neighbours, the private green area of 9,000 m², the completely renovated high-quality accommodation, and the peaceful rural landscape. Here, you can still hear the birds and see the stars at night. At our feet lies the Castelo do Bode Lake, and just 13 km away, the beautiful city of Tomar.

We are located in Levegada, a picturesque and charming rural area with a chapel dating back to 1602, surrounded by single-storey houses. Our Casa da Lameira is around 400 metres from the village, in an area of farmland, vineyards, olive groves and pine woods – a setting that makes our location truly unique.

This is a family-inherited property. My father was born and lived in this house, as did my grandparents and generations before them. The house, of great sentimental value, has been completely restored and renovated.

We are nestled in a unique natural oasis where the blue of the river and the green of nature blend together – just 1.5 hours from Lisbon, two hours from Porto and 40 minutes from Coimbra and Leiria.

Nautical tourism is a major attraction. The Castelo do Bode Dam is a perfect destination for leisure and water sports, not only because of its unique features but also thanks to its excellent central location. It offers about 25 kilometres of river with ideal conditions for canoeing, wakeboarding, water-skiing, rowing, diving and boating, supported by excellent infrastructure.

The region boasts diverse landscapes and walking trails – from the viewpoints of the Dornes peninsula to the endless horizons of the Zêzere River. The light, climate and natural beauty invite you to explore and enjoy one of the most stunning locations in Portugal.

At Casa da Lameira we offer kayak rentals, boat trips on the Castelo do Bode Dam, and tuk-tuk tours to the city of Tomar and its monuments.

Nearby attractions include the beautiful city of Tomar (13 km), religious tourism in Fátima, Nazaré beach (1 hour by car), and Coimbra.
