Apartment for short lets in the historic Center

The accommodation

It is a small two-room apartment on the first floor of a quiet courtyard, accessible only by stairs (no lift). It has Wi-Fi connection, central heating and air conditioning.
By the armored door, located on a balcony, you enter the kitchen / living room, with table and chairs, hob, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, sofa and TV. It is equipped with towels, tablecloths, paper napkins, detergents, crockery and pots. A small corridor separates it from the antechamber and from the bedroom, which has a bright window overlooking a very quiet alley, a double bed with a drawer containing sheets and blankets, and a comfortable 4-door wardrobe. In the antechamber of the bathroom a wall closet contains on one hand vacuum cleaners and materials for cleaning the floors, on the other towels, iron and bags for the separate collection of waste. The bathroom has also a large window, shower, other bathroom fixtures, a washing machine and a closable drying rack.

Setting

The apartment is located in the historic center of the city, surrounded by the monuments that make Mantua so unique (Piazza Sordello with Palazzo Ducale, Piazza Broletto. Palazzo del Podestà, Rotonda di San Lorenzo, Basilica di Sant'Andrea ...).
It is in the courtyard of a sixteenth-century building (unfortunately the external frescoes have almost completely disappeared), just a few steps from all services and shops (bus, train station, drugstore, bank, post office, supermarkets, bakeries, cafe, restaurants).

Activities and attractions

Mantua is really an open-air museum: when you walk through its alleys every palace, every courtyard, every space takes you back in time!
The moment you walk out of the building, you come across monuments you can visit and cultural events you can join, they take place throughout the year in the most prestigious places in the city.

Always a few steps from home, it is possible to walk along the cycle and pedestrian paths of the beautiful lakefront that surrounds the city, to admire the plants (also the aquatic ones, such as lotus flowers and water lilies) and the inhabitants of the lake: swans, ducks and many others species. The three lakes can also be sailed slowly by boat in order to admire the city from the water and closely observe flora and fauna.
