The accommodation

Cala Gonone- La Bouganville - via dei Lecci 10, we rent an apartment at the 2nd floor, it has a large veranda with windows overlooking the sea, the nice view of the limestone cliffs and the pine forest where the kitchen is located and you can have your meals, without other houses disturbing the view. An area of 88 square meters area it is suitable for groups of 2 up 5 people.

In the fully furnished kitchen with a big table and chairs you can eat having relax, also you can open the big windows having the coolness of the pine forest.

There are two double rooms with the view of the sea and the limestone cliffs: in the largest one there is also an extra single bed, a cot or crib can be added.

The modern bathroom is with comfortable bathtub and shower having the view of the sea and the pine forest.

Facilities include: free Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, barbecue, iron, and ironing board, fan and hair-dryer. Often the bed lines and towels are included in the price.

The fully modern equipped kitchens are with central gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, pots, dishes and utensils, detergents included.

Setting

La Bouganville residence is a family run-business that can be found about 400 meters away from the seaside, at Via dei Lecci, 10. Free parking is always available and, in addition, 200 meters away from the house, you will find a public park with a wooden playground.

Within 5-10 minutes walk, you can reach the nearest beach: Palmasera, which is wide, comfortable, and close to the most useful services such as bars, restaurants and pizza restaurants, pubs, shops, the pharmacy, the post office, the ATM and the harbour.

Activities and attractions

Those who simply wish to rest, and enjoy swimming or sea bathing has the chance to choose beaches of different kinds (sandy, stony or pebble ones) everyday. Besides Palmasera beach, that you can reach by foot, you can easily reach three other beaches (just a short drive away, 2-3 kilometers from the center of Cala Gonone): Sos Dorroles, Ziu Martine and Cala Fuili with remarkable natural characteristics and emerald water.

About 9 km far you will find the beaches of Cartoe and Osalla, with their fine sand and uncontaminated environment.

By foot you can reach the port and with the daily cruise you can visit with all sort of boat the well-known beaches such as: “Cala Sisine”, “Cala Biriola”, “Cala Mariolu”, “Cala dei gabbiani”, “Le Sorgenti” and “Cala Goloritzé”. You will be facinated by the seabed, just a few meters from the beach, you will be able to observe a lot of marine flora and fauna, simply with mask and snorkel (snorkeling).

The village it is ideal for all nature lovers and leisure and sporting activities: snorkeling to observe the marine life, diving on wrecks and caverns, bathing every day on a different beach, the sand pebbles, organise tours by dinghy or boat to discover the beautiful and famous beaches like Cala Luna and Cala Mariolu, trekking in different trails, easy and natural excursions for kids, climbing, caving in the many caves in the area, hang-gliding, canoeing along the coast or the nearby Lake Cedrino, official guided visits to Bue Marino and Ispinigoli caves, and the numerous archaeological sites. In short a vacation not to get bored of for sure.
