Villa with 3 bedrooms in mountain environment

Très bon accueil de jorge le propriétaire, qui sait se montrer discret mais efficace dans les problèmes rencontrés. Ce gite est une belle bâtisse ancienne très bien rénovée, qui permet d'accueillir confortablement 6 personnes dans 3 grandes chambres avec chacune une salle d'eau. Pour 8 personnes la banquette d'appoint est inconfortable cependant. La piscine constitue un point fort et très bien entretenue dans un cadre merveilleux. De nombreuses randonnées aux alentours dans un cadre bucolique

I just can’t believe that we found this place ……., let me tell you to start with the owner ( Mr Jorge Melo) is one of the most easy going helping people you will ever find , if like me you often stay in holidays homes, you will see how right I’m if you decide to come for a visit, the local people are very friendly and polite, and ever so helpful. The house is Five starts, honestly, I don’t think that the pictures do her justice, loads and loads of space, on top of that a play room :- you can play pool (we did! loads),cards, dominos, chess, checkers, ……., or just seat back and enjoy some music on the stereo. The landscape is unbelievable, mountain’s and stream’s, agricultural fields As points of interest , just a couple of miles away there the villages of Sao Pedro do Sul with the thermal fountains nearby and Vouzela, they both are worth checking ,either for your shopping for a nice walk or to see the sites . The district capital Viseu , with her museum’s , church’s and cathedral’s is also not far away, only a 12 miles, And the food , let me tell you there is quite a few restaurants around really affordable, if you go for lunch they do the like a day’s special for around £5.00 (Soup , Main , Desert, drink and /or coffee). I’m Portuguese and as such I found no barrier in the language, but if you don’t’ speak the language, that should not deter you as I’m quite sure that you will be able find some one that will speak English or French to help you out, when you are out and about .
