The accommodation

Located in the 1st floor of an 80s building [with elevator], the apartment is in one of the most noble and historically rich zones of Guimarães, very close to the Old City Market [now the Platform for Arts and Creativity], only a few meters away from the Toural Square and the Historical Center [UNESCO World Heritage Site].

Within less than a 3 min. walking distance you’ll find not only the Oliveira and the Santiago Squares, but also the Toural Square, the Vila Flor Cultural Center and the Platform for Arts and Creativity [José de Guimarães International Center for Arts] – all of them main venues of the 2012 European Capital of Culture celebrations – and also of the D. Afonso Henriques Stadium.

The apartment has four bedrooms [one suite double bed room, one double bed room and two twin bedded rooms], three bathrooms [two with shower and a service/guest bathroom] and a living room with a sofa that can easily be converted in a double bed, making it a fifth room.

The apartment has all comodities. The kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, microwaves, fridge, dishwasher and and kitchenware. You will also find a washing machine, iron and an iron board. Naturally, the apartment has Internet [optic fiber connection], WiFi and cable TV.

The street where the apartment is located has parking [paid from Monday to Fridays in working hours and also at Saturday morning] and is served by all the main city lines. However, the apartment has private parking for one car.

It is a very quiet zone, but close to bars, restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, supermarkets and pharmacies.

Train Station is only a 15 min. walk away, while the Bus Station and Taxis can also be found within less than a 5 min. walking distance.
