The accommodation

2 bedrooms with double bed, 1 bedroom with 4 single beds. A baby bed. Large living/dining room with 2 sofas, TV-DVD.
1 bathroom with bathtub and toilet. 1 shower room. 1 independent toilet. Large equipped kitchen + table for children's meals + baby high chair. Dishwasher, cooker, oven and microwave, freezer. Washing machine.
Balcony of the living room facing South with view on the Rhune. Private garden of 120m2 with garden furniture, Barbecue, fenced for children's safety. Private parking: one space. Animals accepted outside the high season, depending on size.

Setting

The house is ideally located in a very quiet dead end and corresponds to a rather family type of rentals. The apartment is on the first floor and can be reached by an outside staircase. The entrances are independent and private (garden, car park and apartment) All comfort for a pleasant and relaxing stay, equipped garden in the shade, living room facing south with a view of the Rhune.
Very easy access, you can put your car and do everything on foot or by bike / scooter.

Activities and attractions

Saint-Jean-de-Luz, a seaside resort on the Basque Coast, with five fine sandy beaches including the Grande plage, located in the heart of the town, ideal for family bathing and supervised in season. Saint-Jean-de-Luz is located 10km south of Biarritz and 12km from the Spanish border.
All along the coastline from Bidart to Hendaye, there is the coastal footpath. An easy walk with a direct view of the ocean on most of the route.
It is possible to access it through several gates and do only part of the route. The entire route takes 6 to 7 hours with magnificent views of the Basque coast and the Labourd mountains.
Bicycle hire (available at the holiday resort) is very convenient for getting to the beaches or the town centre. A cycle track of 3 Kms is in the course of
realization of the port to Chantaco. In Bayonne, the municipality provides bicycles free of charge all year round. A Vélodyssée section with exceptional views of the ocean links Biarritz to St Jean, with picnic areas, tables and interpretation trails placed all along the route. At the bus station in St Jean, regular buses run between Bayonne, Biarritz, Hendaye, Hasparren and Sare. A bus company organises day trips from St Jean de Luz to 1⁄2 or day trips from St Jean de Luz during all the small and large school holidays. There are also shuttles and sea excursions.
To see: the port, the house of Louis XIV, the house of the infanta, the church Saint-Jean Baptiste where Louis XIV and Marie-Thérèse got married, the sea front. The old Saint-Jean de Luz (visits are organized by the tourist office). Stroll along the seafront to the Socoa fort or to Sainte-Barbe for the magnificent view of the bay and the Pyrenees.
