The Jazz House was the home of Javier, a lover of music (mainly jazz), architecture, design and modern art, who also due to his professional activity had the opportunity to design a warm, welcoming space designed to enjoy his main passion: music.

Everything you find when you walk through the door is 100% authentic. Iconic design objects, part of his musical collection, his collection of concerts and musicals on DVD and Bluray, works by renowned international artists and an impressive audiovisual system for maximum enjoyment.

Javier passed away in 2019. Your host at The Jazz House, his son, has left his father's legacy virtually intact. During your stay you will live in Javier's house.

In addition to music, for either work or entertainment you have a symmetrical 600 megabit fiber optic connection with wi-fi coverage throughout the house and a work table to install your laptop.

And since you will be living for a time at The Jazz House, there is no lack of creature comforts: comfy beds, two bathrooms (one of which en suite) with large showers and a kitchen equipped with high-end appliances.

Setting

The Jazz House is located in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on the island of Gran Canaria, which is part of the archipelago of the Canary Islands, Spain. In the heart of the lower city, 5 minutes away from the main bus station, the main shopping street of the city and just 10 minutes by bus from Playa de Las Canteras, one of the best urban beaches in Europe. And yet its location at a small street isolates it from the city noise.

Designed by a true jazz lover, this house breathes bebop, swing, fusion ... but also blues and rock. A unique, authentic experience full of good vibes.

Repetiría

Estuve ahi durante 3 meses por trabajo y, sin duda, si tuviera que volver a las palmas, repetiría de alojamiento. Muy bien situada, al lado de la plaza de la feria y a 15 minutos de la de san telmo el centro. La casa esta muy cuidada, reformada de forma moderna y al mismo tiempo muy acogedora, por lo que vivir allí te transmite sensación de hogar. La cocina esta completamente equipada (demasiado para mí), y todo funciona perfectamente. Hay dos cuartos, el principal con una cama muy comoda y un armario muy amplio para guardar cualquier cosa. Dos baños con buena iluminación y duchas que funcionan perfectamente. Salon con escritorio en el que trabajar, un equipo de musica increible y una coleccion abrumadora de discos y libros, lamentablemente por el trabajo, no pude disrfutarlos. Además, hay televisión tanto en el salón como en el cuarto principal. Ambos con varias plataformas de streaming. Y en cuanto al trato, amable, profesional y fácil como he dicho, si tengo que volver, repetiría
