The Casa Guardião do Castelo is located in the old village of Celorico de Basto, next to the historic Arnoia Castle, in a village rich in heritage, tradition, and identity. It is a privileged place to appreciate the experiences of past generations, visible in the layout of the houses and in the symbols of political and judicial power that have shaped the region’s history.

Situated at the foot of the castle, the house offers stunning views over the village, the surrounding fields, and, in the distance, the green mountains and fertile valleys that create a unique atmosphere of tranquility and rural authenticity.

With four bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, a spacious living room for social gatherings, and a fully equipped kitchen, the house has been carefully restored, respecting its original architecture and traditional customs, while offering modern comfort.

Outside, there is a rustic swimming pool set within a garden surrounded by olive trees, as well as a pleasant patio with a barbecue, perfect for relaxing moments with family or friends.

The surrounding landscape also invites you to discover iconic places such as Monte da Senhora da Graça and Monte de Nossa Senhora do Viso, known for their stunning panoramic views over the Basto region.
