THE APARTMENT
2 level studio apartment with a terrace in Lavapiés quartier. The apartment offers capacity for 2-3 people and is equipped with heating and air conditioning system.There is a full equipped kitchen and a fantastic Terrace. Our apartment is located in Madrid´s most multicultural quartier, and it is the perfect starting point to discover Madrid.
This apartment with terrace heads to the north over the roofs of Lavapiés neighborhood. It posses a comfortable lounge room, a bedroom (upstairs), a tiny but well equipped kitchen and a separate bathroom with shower plate.
The bright flat is fully furnished and fitted. The surrounding area is very centric and animated. The Plaza Mayor of Madrid, Sol Square and the Reina Sofía Contemporary Art Museum are barely 10 minutes away. The quarter has a lot of personality and is getting always trendier due to its bars and art galleries.Comfortable queen size bed (150 x 190 cm) including bed sheets and fresh towels. There is as well a little sofa-bed (80 x 188 cm) available in the upper floor. A wardrobe and diverse furniture offer room enough for clothing and luggage. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, a little grill, microwave, fridge, plates and cutlery, a water boiler, coffee machines, a toaster, etc...
The apartment has two heights separated by a railing and communicated by spiral stairs. Therefore, it could turn inappropriate for little children or people with reduced mobility.

THE AREA
Located in the iconic and centric neighborhood of Lavapiés, between El Rastro, Tirso de Molina square and the Reina Sofía Museum. The cultural diversity of the district is its main feature; thus, the mixture of ethnics and cultures make of Lavapiés an unique neighborhood. Lively and alternative, the quarter is known for its artistic activity and its night life... just two steps away from Plaza Mayor, Calderón and Valle-Inclán theaters, the museums of Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza and Reina Sofía, numerous bars, restaurants, and art galleries.
The apartment is located in the forth floor of a building with two elevators. Not farther than 100m away there's a municipal market (Mercado de San Fernando), a big 24/7 opened supermarket, as well as several corner shops.

MOVING AROUND
Only a few minutes away there are connections to the public transport system, providing an easy access to the whole city: Lavapiés metro station (line 3) 200m away, Tirso de Molina metro station (Line 1) 300m away. Sol and Atocha Railway Station 900m away. Touristic bus Madrid Visión (Paseo del Prado stop) is 950 m away.

THE FINE PRINT
-There are baby cots available to rent for 30€ / stay. Please request the baby cot to the host prior to your arrival.
-Every guest must present a valid ID/Passport and credit/debit card upon check-in.
-Events and/or parties are not allowed.
-For reservation of 28 nights or more, electricity and gas bills will be included up to 50€. The tenant will have to pay for any extra.
